I am allergic to hair dye. Very allergic. This is the only product i can use.Covers gray pretty good. Lasts about 2 weeks.

I have been using this product for years to dye my hair after I stopped using regular chemical dyes in my hair.I have left it in my hair for 3-4 hours at a time because there are no burning chemicals in it. I almost forget that it is in there. It has helped my hair to grow back after it had broken off from many years of using chemical dyes. I add a little raw lemon juice to it when I use it to extend the time between dyes. Because it is a plant based dye, it doesn't last as long as a chemical dye in my hair because my roots grow so quickly. I recommend it to all of my friends.

I've researched and used many products to find one that was free of all Sulfates, Parabens, PPD, Ammonia, Hydrogen Peroxide, etc..This is the only product I have found out there that is creamy and easy to use. Since I am older and have lots of grays, there is coverage, however this product does not last long. 2 weeks at the most, keeping in mind, it is a Semi-Permanent hair color. No more irritated scalp.

After surviving breast cancer I decided to quit highlighting, lowlighting and coloring my hair because of the chemicals. I discovered henna a few years ago when looking for a natural way to color.
