I will be playing in a country jamboree and am required to have a "straw hat" for the event. I looked at a various hats on Amazon, but eventually settled on this one. I'm glad that I did...Here's why:- It's marketed as a "costume hat" for parties, but I have been really surprised by how comfortable and well-made this product actually is! I don't think the manufacturer (from Mexico) actually intended it to be used only for parties (as it's marketed) -- they created this product to last...- The straw is quite flexible, which reduces straw breakage. I haven't had any of the straws break or fall out yet. (In the hot, Arizona sun, I've found this hat to actually be quite functional -- if you don't mind an occasional giggle or two from friends or neighbors. Hey, I'll admit -- it's a fun conversation starter!) ;-)If you're wanting it for parties, it's wonderful. If you want it for a sunny hat, it works...

I bought this for a halloween costume - I usually have to buy large to XL hats. This one fit snugly - but it did fit. I trimmed the edges of the brim to make them a little neater and not stick out as much. It certainly has a rustic vibe to it if that's what you are looking for.

Hat was shipped/packaged better than expected. Hat was received in great condition, great shape! Product is well crafted, very sturdy. My husband wore while boating and loved it! This hat fit better than expected and gave him the right amount of shade, as requested for a captain!

Good looking hat that looks exactly as depicted online but there is no description on the head size and there is no size selection. I have a size 7 3/4 hat size and this hat is just a bit too small. Probably a 7 to 7 1/4.

This hat looks really good and was exactly what I wanted if not more! Extremely well made!

Poor quality, the hat arrived with so much broken straw - it was unbearable.

Husband dressed up as Hector from Coco and this hat worked perfect.

This straw hat will do fine this summer. Little big but I like the looks and style.

Der Strohhut ist sehr robust und sieht prima aus. Ich habe ihn für Fasching noch mit Blumen verziert. Der Hut kam bei uns 1A verpackt in einem passend großen Karton an - nichts zerdrückt oder kaputt.

The first thing I noticed when opening the box that contained this hat was how light it was. I thought it was the flower necklace I ordered it was that light! (See seperate review).The quality is great and lookes really good, as straw hats go it is definately the best one i've bought, and for less than £5 definately a bargain. I have purcharsed much worse things for £5 such as a small-medium rump steak, or multi-pack of miniture candy bars, which are basically your normal chocolate bars shrunk down to miniture size.To summarise if you are looking for a straw hat and are not looking to spend more than £4.49 then I can honeslty say that this is the place to come.
