Caff Vita and famed local chocolatier Theo Chocolate spent months working together to develop this lush blend - which pairs beautifully with chocolate but also has the charm of a superb daily cup. This coffee showcases two distinct coffees - a Fair Trade organic coffee from the foothills of Peru, and a Fair Trade organic coffee from the dense jungles of East Timor. Expect warm, enticing aromas of sweet vanilla and mild tobacco. Delicate herbal tones up front layered upon hints of baking spice and subtle smoke with dark chocolate undertones throughout. And a sweet, supple medium to full bodied coffee balanced with moderate acidity tapering in to a smooth, lingering finish. This unique blend is featured in Theo's renowned Coffee Dark Chocolate bar and our seasonal Vita + Theo confections.

Stale and incinerated
Caffe Vita was my favorite when I lived in Seattle. Having moved away a few years ago, I thought I'd splurge and order some of their Theo blend. I received two packages, sealed, but without any roast date (or perhaps that's what the unreadable sticker on the bottom is, which is covered with another sticker).Trying a variety of grind settings using a Capresso burr grinder, a Chemex, 195-200 degree water, and a ratio of 60 grams of coffee per liter of water, I've now finished the first of the two bags, and can conclusively say: this coffee is awful.I don't know if this has been sitting around on a warehouse shelf for a year, or if I got a freakishly over-roasted batch, but this is NOT the Caffe Vita I remember from Seattle. There is no complexity. None of the tasting notes are present. It just tastes like hot, burnt, brown.

Nice chocolatey roast
Prepared in a Chemex pourover setup. Brew has a nice roasty, dark chocolate flavor. A good start to the day, would go well with dessert too.

Unique flavor but way too overpriced.
It certainly has the most distinct flavor to any other coffee I've had. Not sure if I like it, however. I don't hate it, but it didn't make me crave for more. I guess it was worth a try but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who isn't curious especially considering how expensive and overpriced it is($23 for 12 oz).

Didn’t like it
Not worth the price. Hugely overpriced. Didn’t like the flavor.

good coffee
I can write a lot of fancy words, but all you need to know is its good coffee. Smooth and Tasty, a really nice coffee to drink daily. Definetley one of our favourites and we ordered it twice now and have it on monthly order. The packet does look different than it does on amazon.

Very good medium blend roast.
Cafe Vita is my favorite coffee roaster and this blend is no exception to their quality. I use it with an Aeropress and it has a really good taste.

... as a gift to my coffee loving brother who enjoyed it. When it arrived
Gave this as a gift to my coffee loving brother who enjoyed it. When it arrived, it smelled wonderfully of chocolate coffee.

Organic, delicious, decent price
We have been drinking cafe vita coffee for awhile now an we love their coffee. Every blend we have tried is awesome but its even better we can no get organic and its still the same great taste we have come to expect. We have tried both organic blends we like the theo just a tiny bit better but homestly you cant go wrong with either.
