Good quality pouches and very adjustable...
The media could not be loaded. I purchased 5 of these pouches and the Black Scorpion belt to use for USPSA competitions. I was skeptical because they are not too expensive compared to other quality mag pouches yet they are expensive enough to worry that I will be stuck with something that does not work well. After fitting them to the belt ( IPSC & USPSA and 3 Gun High Speed Competition Shooting Belt ), I am very happy with the retention adjustment mechanism and they can be adjusted in many ways to fit anyone's desired position. They are made of plastic but that makes them very light and that is important when you put a few of those on the belt. Another good feature is that the front side is open so the index finger can rest right along the mag before you pull it out allowing for better guidance in the magwell.Only problem that I see is for the Glock 30 magazine that is a double stack 45, it does not feel that it is a good fit. It does hold it but after adjusting the pouch it opens up from the top too much and when the magazine is removed it feels that the retaining plate is too loose. However, 9mm Glock Gen 4 magazines and Tanfoglio large frame magazines fit perfectly which means that it will also work with CZ magazines.Generally, they appear to be of good quality and although I had second thoughts about them, I decided that I will keep them and I am sure they will last a long time. In the video, I attempt to show you how they fit and how to attach them to the belt.

5 Star Product...
Excellent-5 stars...I am a left handed shooter mounting these mags on my right side.1. Well engineered, well made.2. Body is made of strong, quality ABS plastic/nylon.3. Easily converts to right side carry for left handed shooters. The Scorpion carbon look logo peels off and the cover plate will flip over to be all gloss black (after removing protective film). I obtained some carbon film and put it onto the all black side. Looks great! Tools needed for conversion 2mm & 4mm Allen wrench, 5mm socket. Having a tweezer and some tape makes things easier.4. All fasteners, nuts, bolts & critical parts are made of steel. Lock nuts are used.5. Easily adjusts forward, back, up, down, in or out via access hole using a 4mm Allen wrench. Holds any adjustment perfectly.6. Easily converts from double to single stack.7. Easily mounts on 1.5” belt and stays where you want it. Will not work with wider belts.8. Fits all size mags (Glock, CZ, Sig, M&P).9. Retention is easily adjusted in the field without tools.10. Mags are easily indexed for smooth draw.Looks and works as great as mag pouches costing much more money.I would very highly recommend this product!!!

UPDATE: Best mag pouches I've had thus far
UPDATE 10/20/14:After owning these for a few months and switching between these, DAA racers, CR Speed Versas and Ghosts I found that these are actually my favorite. They can be configured in so many different ways and are relatively cheap. The best thing I like about them is that I can get a full index on a mag from palm to pointer finger pads. Buying another 2 today*********************For the price and features I think this is a great deal for competitors at any level. Due to the 'ball-bearing' design you can really zero in where you want your mags to sit by adjusting the height, cant and distance from the belt. I currently run 4 Double Alpha Racers for my first 4 mags and then I run 2 of these on my back for backup. My 2 complaints are that they are somewhat of a pain to the attach them to your belt and dry-fit your rig. There are 4 screws on the front panel, one in each corner which I feel are overkill. Also the quality of the plastic seems a bit thin. It's great that they have a lot of features for the price but I question how they would hold up if banged against a corner.

Finally a quality competition style magazine pouch.
I purchased 5 of these magazine pouches for my Springfield Armory XDM double stack magazines and they fit like a glove. The pouches mount to my gun belt easily and adjusts for angle, cant, and height on the belt. Black Scorpion Storm Magazine Pouches look good, feel good, and work great.

Great product, but a big HOWEVER!!
So these mag pouches do what they are supposed to do...but, if you are a left handed shooter there is something you need to know. What they don’t tell you about these being ambidextrous, is that when you reverse the back attachenent and the face plate to make them left handed the face plate only fits on with the Black Scorpion logo facing into the pouch and can’t be seen anymore from the outside. So it just ends up being a plain black face plate. Kind of disappointing, but it doesn’t mess with the functionality obviously, just not as esthetically pleasing.

Worth it
I picked up these mag holders for my BSG pro heavy duty comp belt rig and I am very happy with them. I picked these over the non aluminum BSG mag holders for their ability to adjust ride height. They look and feel great. The Red color matches their red series pro holsters

is it worth the lower cost compared to others?
initial review as I just received it. first thought was what a piece of junk. what the heck is all these parts and how do I adjust it. no instructions what so ever in the packaging. I guess this is the way we save money in the digital age, just google it; or more apt go to the company web site that has a decent video showing it off. however the video wasn't even made by the company. more cost savings I guess. after watching the video I was a little more comfortable with my purchase; hence the 4 star review. that along with this thing has a bunch of adjustments. other reviewers have stated they need to re-tighten them often, we'll have to see after some use. the only real gripe I have on this so far without use is where is the tiny torx bit I need to put this on my belt?????? who has this tiny torx bit? all other major manufacturer's put one in with their product. another cost savings. i can deal with not having the bit if it was a nornal size allen key, but it's some rare tiny torx bit. a trip to the hardware store is in order I guess. to answer my title, depends. do you have the torx bit and how hard is it going to be to find and how much? to be continued.......
