Our Otoscope stopped working after a fall and replacing it was just not in the budget. I did some searching online and found that sometimes the bulb just goes out. For 14 bucks, it wasn't going to hurt to try. It came in very quickly and after we swapped out the bulb, it worked like a charm! I'm glad this part was so easy to track down and the install was a wiz. Now we are up and running in almost no time at all.

As a pediatrician, I expect truthfulness from my patients and from their parents; I cannot provide excellent care any other way. We are all a team. I expect nothing less from all those with whom I deal, and that includes the suppliers of my equipment. I have always used Welch Allyn brand name otoscopes, simply because I believe they are the best and, for over thirty years, I have never been disappointed in them. Recently, I needed some replacement bulbs for my otoscopes which I use every day, and I searched the web to find brand name Welch Allyn replacement bulbs. Most of the suppliers on the web offer cheap generic replacement bulbs which will fit the otoscopes, and make it clear that they are off label bulbs. When I found Dynamic Lighting bulbs, though the price was twice that of the least expensive off label bulbs, the picture of the bulbs offered for sale on the Amazon site clearly shows the familiar green and white Welch Allyn cardboard packaging I have always purchased. So, I decided to purchase two of these at $12.97 each (plus $5 EACH for S&H), instead of those from another website which truthfully offered off label bulbs for as little as $6.00 each. When the bulbs arrived today, I was shocked and felt violated as the bulbs did not come in the Welch Allyn packaging and they do not have "Welch Allyn"printed on beside the point. Dynamic Lighting clearly lied to me, did a bait-and-switch, and I warn everyone who reads this to STAY AWAY!! If you want off label bulbs, there are far cheaper sites that truthfully advertise their wares as such. If you want Welch Allyn bulbs, you won't find them here! I am submitting this protest to Amazon as well, and hope that they care enough to shut these liars down!

I purchased this replacement bulb for my otoscope. I had read other reviews and was concerned that this product was not a genuine Welch Allyn part. Thus, I contacted the company, and they assured me that although the item will not arrive in a Welch Allyn green package (the bulb comes in a small plastic bag) that it is made by the same company that makes the Welch Allyn bulbs. The first package that they sent was tampered with and the bulb was stolen. Dynamic Lamps promptly sent out another bulb at no expense to me. Customer service was quick to respond to each of my e-mails to them. I greatly appreciated this. While I am not an otolaryngologist, I really can't tell the difference in the light output. It looks the same as my previous bulb. I would purchase this bulb again from Dynamic Lamps.
