It works EXCATLY as it is meant too..
The noise level of this item isn't entirely all that -quiet- as advertised but it is low. Now when it comes to devices like this for your companion may need some time to be introduced to it. I bought this for my brothers boston terrier (I'm pet sitting for a while), he's a large boston terrier so his paws are alot bigger then normal and his nails are thick. But I still can use the small size or switch to the medium when needed of the nail filer/grinder. He has been trained to allow nail trimming but I wanted to try this out as I'm not comfortable using a nail trimmer. I first started with pretending I was doing his nails, just to see how he would react. I didn't have it on, I just acted like I was filing which he was fine with. If your companion pulls away even without it on, you have to SLOWLY introduce it for your pet to realize it doesn't hurt and to build their confidence with it. If you have to start basic to teach them "give me paw" to get use to you touching their paws, cause some pets don't like their paws touched and that's where it stems off of from them not accepting the nail grinder. But you may have to start there to teach your pet the simple trick. It will take time and patience to get your dog use to their paws touched. If not, you know your pet. If you feel confident that they will accept this device easy. Then sure go for it but you might want to show how it feels. So since my brothers boston terrier was fine with the device (since I had it off) I then turned it on but I didn't use the grinder yet. I just let him feel the vibration by placing the nail grinder device on his paws so he can feel it. (I had the cap still on, so all he felt was just the vibration) Your pet, as well as mine never felt anything vibrating on their paws. And it did feel strange to him as he pulled his paw away as I expected. So for a few days I pretended to file his nails with the device on, to get him use to the vibration and the noise that eventually he didn't pull his paw away. Eventually came the true test. To file his nails. I at first tried it out while I was bathing him. He stays still more when getting a bath and filing his nails he still pulled his paw away a couple of times as the sensation still is weird and now it's traveling up his nail. I couldn't get a good angle since he's in the tub so I decided to finish the bath and get him out of the tub. I placed him on my bed so I'm at a better level to get to his nails. He laid down and was pretty much dozing off as he snored away. And I started filing his nails with the device and he did not even wake up or budge. His SNORES were louder then the nail grind device lol. So I got all his nails done from front to back. It's a SLOW process. You have to go little at a time with filing. And it makes a funny smell, it's due to the nail being grinded so theirs a lil smoke but that's NORMAL! Your dog isn't going to burn and you just go little at a time to ensure you won't hurt your dog. The lights are awesome as I can see his quick, thank god his nails are white as most bostons have black nails. It took about 30 mins to get all his nails, since they were not trimmed for a long WHILE. Some nails were short and others way to long. And I only filed as much as I felt comfortable that they were short enough. I personally didn't want to get to close to the quick, so I left them a little long but the nails aren't Freddy Kruger long as before and now he walks better. Soooo I probably MAYBE could of skipped some steps of introducing it to him, he's not my dog and I don't know everything about him but I am now that he's staying with me. I didn't want to scare him, cause some dogs you can go right to grinding while they are distracted with eating or sleeping and you have NO problem filing their nails. Some dogs are just like that which is awesome! You know your dog best after all. And I'm learning what my brothers dog will allow and won't allow. So far he has been trained really well by my brother and his wife. He let's me clean his ears, touch his paws, bathe him. The only thing he doesn't like to be messed with is his face being cleaned to clean out any eye gunk caught in his face wrinkles lol. But he doesn't bite or anything so I clean his face while he squirms a bit. So I probably could of just filed his nails without issue while he slept lol. But I didn't know how he would respond to it and maybe with taking my time about it, he felt comfortable enough to stay asleep and let me file his nails. Next time it may not take as long to file his nails but if it does, then it does. It's WORKING that's all that matters lol. As for time wise with this nail grinder device it takes longer then just trimming the nails but in the end, you have smooth nails that don't scratch compared to cutting them off with a trimmer. Also put a towel or something under your dog, it does create alot of nail dust depending on your dogs nail size. That way it's easy to clean off by taking the towel outside and flailing it about lol. Or just whatever method you want to use that is easiest for you. So for those not sure how your dog will take to this item, just go with steps that you know is best for your dog to slowly introduce. You can either follow my steps or your own, so long as in the end your pet isn't afraid when it's in use. Some dogs just need time to get use to their paws being touched before even using this nail grinder. If you DO NOT want to go through training your dog with this, if say they freak out over any sort of nail trimming or even trying to touch their paws. This is NOT the device for you if you do not have the tools to train your dog. But it's never to late to start and to rehabilitate your dog to learn to trust you and anything you are in need to do when it comes to grooming your dog. For fellow owners out there, you know your pet best. And this nail grinder does as it's design for. Every pet is different and you know your pet best. I hope this review gives some insight that can help! My steps might not work for everyone as everyone has their own methods, you do what is best for your pet. I'm just writing this review to hopefully help other owners out there for their fur babies. Before I purchased this, I did read the reviews that got me to purchase this item. As for the one star reviews I didn't take them to seriously because just some dogs will not accept it. But it doesn't reflect on the nail grinders performance to file the nails, it still does what it's designed for regardless if a dog rejects it. Their was one star review I read where the owner mentioned that the nail filer hurt their dog. I am just thinking, well, how hard were you pressing to file the nail? Were you pressing to hard or going softly to grind little at a time? Did they have the nail size safety cap off? Did the dog just yelp just out of reaction because some dogs are like that, they will yelp over anything because they know that will get you to stop. Their is no explanation of HOW this dog's nail or paw got hurt from the device. Yes your pet can get hurt but that's if your not being careful with it or using the device incorrectly, that's going to be the result. A nail trimmer can hurt your dog to. If you so much as cut that quick, your dog is going to yelp and whine over the pain. The nail grinder is a safer way for nail maintenance but if your not comfortable with it, afraid it will hurt your pet. You can always purchase a nail file from any store and just file that way with the file stick(the file stick women use for their nails). So without further adieu, that's my take on this nail grinder. I give it a 5 star on everything but the noise part lol. More like a three star, it's not SUPER loud or anything but it isn't all that quiet. I also used this device on my CATS nails. And since her nails are smaller and thinner, it grinded her nails real fast and it didn't HURT her. I only grinded just the sharp points off and didn't go any further. Now she has smooth nails but I'll probably have to grind her nails more often because cat claws regrow quickly. So fellow cat owners out there, this does work on a CAT too! You just have to be extra careful cause their nails are so thin, it doesn't take much to grind the sharp points off. I even read a review someone was able to grind their guinea pig's nails. That's how SAFE this device is, so long as you are CAREFUL! If your cat freaks out over getting nails trimmed or paws touched, then this device is NOT for you!

High Quality, Cost Effective & Does The Job Right
This grinder is great. I am not new to grinding my dogs nails. In fact one of the very first grinders I used was a stripped down dremel wanna be back in 2009. After that died (using NiMH battery) I used an actual dremel until our dog got older and ended up leaving the task to the groomer. We now have a new beagle puppy and she is very anxious to new “daddy toys”. I introduced the grinder as directed. She did great until it was actually time to grind her nails. A 13lb beagle puppy is no match for a 39 yoa dad, 36 yoa mom and 11 yoa sister. The puppy was the winner (ha)! Ended up buying the good boy dog muzzle and that did it. She sits comfortably and does not snap. Still takes 2 people to hold her but I am sure after a few time that will change. I have screws and a plate in my hand and vibrations bother me. I use it on the low setting and have no discomfort at all. Even on high speed the vibration is so minimal. A dremel had 100 time more vibration even at a lower speed then the Casfuy. The noise level is no louder then a pedestal fan. The led light are great not only for seeing the nail but really bright in a lower light condition. The usb charging is also a huge plus. The only thing I would like to see changed is a usb c charging port. It is my belief the everything will eventually switch over to usb c. I am going to need 50 adapters for all the micro usb devices I have. Overall I would buy this item again and have another for a backup. My daughters complaint is that it doesn’t come in a dark purple.

Good quality for $$$...
Great design and quiet motor out of the box! Review Body: I recently picked up the Casfuy 2-Speed Dog Nail Grinder in Bright Blue. While I haven't used it on my dog's nails just yet, here are my initial impressions right out of the package: Build & Design: The grinder feels solid, lightweight, and easy to hold. The bright blue color looks great and makes it easy to find in a pet supplies bin. Dual LED Lights: The two lights built into the top turn on right away, which looks like it will be very useful for clearly seeing the quick on darker nails. Noise & Vibration: Switching it on, the motor is noticeably quiet on both the low and high speed settings. The vibration in the hand is minimal, which is a huge plus for keeping skittish pets comfortable. Accessories & Ports: It comes with a USB charging cable and a removable cap with different-sized openings for small, medium, or large paws.

Quiet, Safe, and Effective
I am so glad I purchased this nail grinder. My dog is terrified of nail trims. She has dark nails which are always overgrown because I'm afraid of trimming into her quick. She does not appreciate trips to the vet to handle nail maintenance and she has had bad experiences with trims at the groomer, so I've been looking for a way to help with her anxiety around keeping her nails maintained. This grinder is powerful and you need to be careful to remove small amounts of nail each time. The LED lights are amazing. I can see the interior structure of my dog's nail which helps prevent trimming too close. The best feature of this grinder is that it is quiet. I used an early version of nail grinder that used sandpaper wheels to trim the nail. The grinder was incredibly loud and terrified my sweet girl. The sandpaper wheels required constant replacement. This Casfuy grinder is very quiet. The diamond grinder seems like it will last ages and requires just the lightest pressure to remove material. I keep our trimming sessions short and use treats (Shout out to Zuke's Minis!) to help my dog relax. We've worked up to her tolerating about 4 nails at a time. I know our new nail grinder is going to be the perfect solution to a long-standing problem with overgrown nails and anxiety-ridden pup and person. Don't hesitate if you have been looking for a quieter, well-made nail grinder. It is safe, easy to use, simple to charge, and tolerated by nervous pooches and people alike.

Bought again
This is the 2nd time I have purchased a Casfuy Cordless Nail Grinder for my 2 little dogs. The first was about 4 years ago. It lasted about as long as expected for a rechargeable using for 2 dogs every 2 weeks sometimes weekly to keep their nails short. We don't do well with nail clippers. These grinders are perfect, quiet , fast easy to handle. They just lay there and let me shorten their nails. Training them for the use was easy because it is so quite. Great product for the price. Would definitely buy again.

Efficient and User/Dog-Friendly Dog Nail Grinder
I recently had the opportunity to try out the Casfuy Dog Nail Grinder with 2 LED Lights, and I must say, it has made the task of trimming my dog's nails much more convenient. As a responsible pet owner, keeping my dog's nails in check is crucial for their overall well-being, and this product has certainly made the process easier. One of the standout features of this nail grinder is the inclusion of 2 LED lights. This innovation is a game-changer, especially when dealing with dark-colored nails. The lights provide excellent visibility, making it easier to see the quick and avoid any accidental injuries. It's a thoughtful addition that sets the Casfuy grinder apart from others on the market. The grinder offers 2-speed options, allowing for a customized experience based on your dog's nail thickness and your comfort level. The low-speed setting is perfect for smaller dogs or for fine-tuning, while the high-speed setting efficiently trims larger, tougher nails. I appreciate the versatility, as it caters to the varying needs of different breeds. The device is designed with the well-being of both the pet and the owner in mind. The noise level is relatively low, minimizing stress for the dog during the grooming process. The ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip for the owner, reducing fatigue during extended use. The rechargeable battery is another positive aspect. It holds a decent charge, providing enough power for multiple sessions before needing to recharge. This is convenient for those who prefer not to deal with the hassle of constantly changing batteries. While the Casfuy Dog Nail Grinder has many positive aspects, it's essential to note that it may not be suitable for dogs who are particularly sensitive to the sound of grinders. Additionally, for dogs with extremely hard nails, it may take a bit more time compared to traditional clippers. In conclusion, the Casfuy Dog Nail Grinder with 2 LED Lights is a reliable and efficient tool for pet owners looking to maintain their dog's nails at home. The added features, such as the LED lights and adjustable speed settings, make it a worthwhile investment. Overall, I am pleased with the performance and would recommend it to fellow pet owners.

Battery lasts about 3 years
Works well. Had to replace the file part once and after 3 years, need to replace altogether, as it no longer holds a charge.

Worked on a fearful rescue dog!
I would give this grinder 10 stars if I could! I recently adopted a fearful, skittish rescue dog. He had super long nails, which he was always chewing and pulling on. The problem was that he hated to have his paws touched. I worked for several weeks getting him used to having his paws handled. Meanwhile his awful nails continued to grow. I tried clipping 1 nail, and he ran away. I agonized over what to do. If I took him to a groomer, it would traumatize him further, because he's afraid of everything due to his unfortunate past. If I trimmed his nails, I could damage the trust he was beginning to build with me. Out of desperation, I decided to try this grinder based on all of the great reviews. This grinder is very quiet. I started slowly introducing it to my dog. I even ran it along his back (with the cover on) using it like a massager. He LIKED it! He then flopped over and wanted it rubbed on his tummy! I couldn't believe his reaction! I then ran it down his legs and rubbed his paws. Still no reaction from him. I did this process for several days. I finally touched the grinder to his nail. He was interested, but not afraid. Every time he would pull his paw away, I would turn off the grinder and give him a yummy treat. It was slow going, because his nails were so long. I did this in several sessions, so that this continued to be a positive experience for my skittish pup. I was able to complete his manicure in 1 day! I never restrained him the entire time! He still doesn't like having his paws held, but he tolerates the grinder well. Initially it may take some time to get long nails ground down to the proper length. I now grind his nails weekly, so the sessions stay short. The LED lights are helpful. I also found that using the higher speed resulted in a smoother grinding experience. Just be sure to not hold the grinder in 1 place for a prolonged period, because the nail will heat up. I rock the grinder from side to side on the nail, and it works well. This worked miracles for my dog. His nails are now a healthy length, and we are both unharmed. Highly recommend!

I regret not knowing this much earlier. Always a struggle to clip my dog’s nails. This grinder works so well in trimming nails and easy to operate. Definitely a must try.

Fab! My nervous lab has learnt to be ok with it. Great for trimming a dobermans black nails too.
I've 2 dogs, a nervous rescue red labrador plus a rescue doberman who is fine with most things. The doberman was fine from the off but the lab is really scared of any new things, even if they don't move/make noise! With the labrador I built it up gradually doing it each day. I started off just touching her paws with it whilst feeding her dinner by hand, then putting it on near her whilst feeding, touching her with it briefly whilst on & rewarding each time just so she felt the vibration etc. It took a month but she now let's me do all her nails no problem! The light is great for seeing when youre getting near the quick too on her as she's got light nails. The Dobermans nails are black so clipping is difficult as you cant see the quick. With the grinder you can do it gradually & get a much shorter nail as you can see when youre getting near the point where you should stop. The one thing I would say it to do a tiny bit on each nail then go back & repeat each nail as if you focus on one nail too long it can generate heat which may make your dog feel uncomfortable. It doesnt burn but common sense tells them if somethings getting hot pull away from it. Saying that my doberman doesnt seem to bother about the heat. It says its very quiet which it is to us but still noisy enough to worry my labrador! However, I dont think you would get a grinder that makes less noise as they will make a noise as theyre grinding & grinding is going to make a noise! I dont normally leave reviews but im really impressed with this & never have to pay for a nail clip again!!! Its taken me a while to leave a review as I wanted to make sure it worked well for a few months before I said it was great!

Insomma super consigliato
