Q: Price seems insane considering we can get a 7 bike option for the same price. Why so expensive?

Thank you for your question, the Bomber Strap allows your bike to stay stable with a secure strap as well as keeping it minimalistic by not covering your back-up camera. The Bomber Strap is made in the USA, it is made of 1000 denier ballistic nylon. Inside the Bomber Strap we use 1” closed cell foam. The backing material has a tall, soft nap keeping the surface of the truck safe from scratches. An additional 1/8” of neoprene provides additional padding behind the soft nap material. Q: Has anybody used these for a gravel bike? It’s hard to find a good one for a gravel bike, these look promising.

Yes I have used it on my road bikes for triathlons. It will accomidate any bike that allows the bike tire to turn 90 degrees parallel to the tailgate. It is a great minimalistic option.

Hi, it will not work with the knock block. Some people have been able to make it work but I don’t recommend it.

Q: Will this scratch the paint on the tailgate?

No! It actually protects your tailgate while the bike is held securely in place. My tailgate is like new. It is very well made.
