Some barks tend to be incredibly hot or strange tasting at times. This one is very solid. Per many scientific articles you can access from online databases like NCBI, this bark is absolutely one of the top bacterial killers. It's good enough to be better than seriously destructive bacteria like S. mutans and various others. It competes easily with Chlorhexidine at keeping various bacteria in check. In short, it's powerful, and this is proven by science.Essential oils for whatever reason get a pejorative reputation among shills that think only lab created synthesis can be of use to anybody. The real truth is that all of our drugs come from various aspects of the natural world and our close study of its workings.Cinnamon oil is one such oil. The bark oil is hot, and you must dilute it, or it WILL burn you. But when properly diluted for mouth wash, a salve, et cetera, it works perfectly fine in the mouth. The good thing is you don't need a lot of it. And you certainly don't need to be drinking it, but used in various ways in the oral cavity it will 100% keep your mouth way cleaner than it was without it. That much is a guarantee. You can even mix it with a bunch of water and create your own breath spray. It works, and the science backs it up.While it isn't going to save you if your diet consists of only sugar, it will at least help you isolate problems and get a good balance in your mouth. A quality virgin coconut oil is recommended for oil pulling in oral cavity. It can obviously be used with an infuser for scent, but beware it will stain easily.This is one of the best sources of it, though, a bit expensive. Do not buy a low quality essential oil. Get an oil from a trusted brand with a history in safe manufacturing.

Plant Therapy is the best. Cinnamon Bark Oil is the best of the Cinnamon oils. Cassia & others are nice, but the Cinnamon Bark oil has the truest scent. It is the most concentrated of all the choices. I ordered the Cassia accidentally & almost went to the return page until I took a detailed look at the “Order Details.” That’s when I knew that the Cinnamon Bark is the scent I crave and remember from those toothpicks that were popular when I was about ten! It taught me undoubtedly that there is a huge difference between which part of the tree the Cinnamon is harvested from. I knew bc the scent was ok with Cassia but before I even knew I’d ordered oil from a different part of the tree that it wasn’t what I loved. If I’d noticed that detail before usage I might’ve considered that the difference was in my mind before my sense of smell. So I know for a fact that when I have oil harvested from the Bark it’s the perfect deep scent. Cinnamon is one of my favorites, if not my absolute favorite of the many choices Plant Therapy offers.

I use this oil for it antibacterial properties. I mix this with eucalyptus, rosemary, lemon and clove to make my own version of "thieves". My kids love this in homemade bathroom sprays and stinky shoes/sports gear as well as hand sanitizer. The cinnamon smell is awesome.

I can barely smell the cinnamon. Might contact them about it! Too expensive to have barely any scent, when I rubbed it on my skin or smelled it directly from the bottle!!!

Smells like Clove oil right out of the bottle but when diffused or a few drops added to water & witch hazel, the cinnamon scent is amazing!!!!

I expected this to smell similar to the cinnamon pine cones that i buy around the holidays. Wrong! This smells so strong and smells nothing like regular cinnamon. It’s overbearing to the point I got a migraine from the smell and aired out my house to get the scent out. I don’t recommend this at all. If I could give “0” stars I would.

I use it for the skin you have to weaken it 10 drops to 2 tablespoons of olive oil works great for the skin this stuff is strong and high quality

Great smelling and strong essential oil. I love this in my diffuser. Lots of health benefits too like increases blood circulation, stimulates immune system, reduces inflammation and more.
