Handheld holder Take-off/Landing Mount Protector Handle Stick for DJI Mavic Mini Drone Accessories

For the money this 3D printed catcher for my DJI Mini is OK.I am not comfortable "had catching" my drone, however I snapped it on and took the drone out for a quick flight.The thing worked well.No weight to speak of but with my strobes attached I am already over 249g. Do not plan to use it a lot but there will be times when I do not want to land and take off in tall grass or gravel and beat my drone to pieces doing it.

The handle is way to short to be of actual use. For as short as it is you might as well just catch the underside of the drone. The image on the product is completely misleading. the handle wouldnt go past the guys thumb. Its about 4 inches below the drone. I made my own out of a single screw, balsa wood and a velco strap that worked better.Also, there's no hinging, so if you want to get it around the drone you have to flex apart the entire thing. I would give it 20 uses before the on and off flexing of getting it around the drone body broke it. You can tell its 3d printed and thats fine but until they make some sort of hinge to get it around the drone and double the length of the handle, this thing is basically worthless.

Works as advertised. Let's me launch and recover the DJI Mini 2 from just about anywhere, on land or water. But worried about longevity as installing or removing this 3d printed plastic part really requires some bending of the plastic. So far so good, though.

I am disappointed I can't buy another one today, as I lost the one I had bought.This made it possible to recover the drone on a boat. Super useful. It is long enough to catch with one hand. Wouldn't want it any longer as it will add drag, but even so, the drone was not hindered.I too worry about bending it to attach it on and off and of its durability. I had used it about 10 times before losing it.I hope the seller / maker will sell it again.
