This is a well designed, solid, very portable speaker. If you can catch one on sale, get it. The carabiner is a nice plus. Fairly water resistant, pretty resistant to being dropped, very small and decent battery life. The sound is good for a speaker this small, but do not expect great bass or depth. The speakers are just too small. But the music is very listenable with the speaker close by. Where it excels is for mid-range things like podcasts, as an external speaker for your laptop or phone, movies (sans bass), and so on.I have a nice Chromebook, but the speakers are too low volume. This mini speaker solves that problem well. Same for my phone. The sound is clear and very decent all things considered. Just be realistic in your expectations.It's also very solid and easy to operate. The bluetooth works very well. It connects in just a few seconds usually and does not disconnect too quickly if you have paused your music or whatever as some speakers do. It's plenty loud if you keep it close. It will NOT fill a room with sound. but one should not expect a speaker this small to do that. The voice when it turns on/off does not bother me that much as it is not painfully loud, but might annoy some. The controls (on top, from left to right: on/off, volume down, volume up) are a bit hard to see, but a minor issue as you quickly know them by position.Overall, this does exactly what you want from a speaker this size. I am very satisfied with mine.

This is an outstanding little speaker. It was recommended from a friend who bought and used it for about 6 months before I seen it. I’ve now had mine for a few months now and have used it poolside, in the house and at the beach. The sound is really good for such very small speaker. The sound is clear and even has sufficient volume to hear at the windy beach or from a decent distance. One full charge seems to last about 5 hours of use. Maybe even a bit longer.I absolutely recommend this item.

Good sound for compact size. It fit perfectly inside my Lego Retro Radio,. It was easy to set up.

If I could give the product 6 stars out of 5, I would. That's not to say that it's perfect, but the speaker has far exceeded my expectations. All I wanted was some plug-in, bluetooth speakers that I could use in the bedroom to help wake me up in the morning and to allow me to hear streaming videos over the sound of the fan at night. I hadn't anticipated getting speakers that are portable, and certainly didn't envision speakers so small or so inexpensive. The sound quality is not as good as one would expect from speakers of "normal" size, but it's quite impressive for a speaker that is so small. (When I am watching a video in bed, I put the speaker on my chest, speaker-side down. This muffles the high tones more than the low and mid tones, so the sound quality is better to my ears, and I can literally feel the bass.) The portability has come in quite handy - I use the speaker as a shower radio and when I'm cooking in the kitchen. A great bonus is that I can easily take it with my on my bike. When I'm in traffic, it's hard to hear GPS directions from my phone's speaker, but I can hear them clearly when I use the portable speaker (and playing heavy metal on the speaker is more effective than a bike bell for alerting people to my presence). I only have 2 complaints about the speaker. (1) The carabiner that comes with the speaker is garbage. The first time I used it to affix the speaker to my bike, the spring that holds the carabiner closed broke. I used it a second time anyway, and when I hit a pothole the speaker fell off of my bike and onto the pavement. Fortunately a car didn't run over it and I didn't get hit when trying to retrieve it. (And it did survive the drop, albeit with a couple of scratches.) They should either provide a better carabiner or not provide one at all - what they provide is worse than nothing. (2) When the battery gets low, the speaker plays a couple of warning tones every once in a while. It's quite annoying when the alert starts chirping in the middle of the night.

I've had this little speaker for over a year now and it's still going strong. It is amazing! I use it at my hot tub. It lasts at least a week (use it maybe 3x a week for several hours at a time) before needing a charge. When it is about to die the blue light starts flashing and it beeps regularly. I can keep my phone in the house (maybe 10 ft away thru cement walls?) and it stays connected and I can even use it for phone calls (sim to speaker phone) I like that I can move the radio to random spots as I need it. Volume is great (put the volume up to a good level on your phone then you can adjust within a margin on the speaker with the arrow buttons). Speaker is loud enough and sound is good for me to hear over the jets but not blasting the neighbors (but I probably could make it do that to a point if I wanted). If you are looking for 'awesome stereo sound' then maybe it's not for you (be reasonable - the thing is tiny). But I think it's good and I listen to music and books while in the tub and several friends have been surprised at how good it sounds especially considering the size. (sounds good with books read by male or female voice - the 'tone' range is equal)My favorite story tho I want to share..... 2 days ago I wasn't paying attention when I put the cover on my tub and I knocked the radio into the water. I found it there floating in the water over 24 hrs later. I was devastated but had to try it.... This little radio started right up and only had a few minutes of 'tingy' sound then it returned to normal. I am stunned. the charging port is covered by a rubber cover that you have to press to make sure it's sealed (super easy to do). I'm sure because I had sealed this cover, the radio survived hot water dunking for over 24 hrs.I'm not sure this radio would work for something like a backyard party or be good for yard work when you are walking around and don't have the radio right next to you at all times. But. If you want it at your bedside, or in the shower/bathtub, or at a pool/hot tub.....this radio would be perfect. SUPER waterproof. Totally worth the price. Easy to align to your phone. No issues at all with wifi. long battery. I love this speaker!!!!

A handful of years ago, I remember begging my parents for this particular speaker when it used to be $50 and handheld bluetooth speakers were just getting popular. I loved it! Getting one in mint was the cherry on top for me. Loved playing music in the shower, clipping it to my bike when out for rides, and even having it for runs. It was absolutely amazing. Even played music while taking a bath to test the waterproofing, still worked well after it floated around in the bath. However, my *old* speaker had seen better days and got stepped on so the sound quality wasn't the best after that while the battery wouldn't a charge too well (Granted I did use it almost daily). I had it for about 3 years and I got quite a bit of use out of it. Saw an Amazon ad (fall 2019) for the exact same speaker, (brand color and all) so I had to buy another and it was a plus that the technology was less expensive. The charge didn't hold as long as my first but I was happy. It held up pretty well for a while. Forgot I had it until recently I was cleaning up my room. It does not hold a charge at all; it won't play unless plugged in to power source, so no longer water safe. It has been 3 years. Still plays, sound quality isn't the best and it disconnects if I try to raise thr volume all the way. You definitely get what you pay for. It's like a $15 speaker, for the price it definitely functions well but I doubt it's a long term item. May potentially buy a third as I just enjoy the size and design and I think it'd be worth the price even if it only lasts a year.

This tiny speaker has amazing sound! You can feel the bass thumping when you have it in your hand. I saw other reviewers say that they thought the volume was inadequate (and maybe it is for them?), but I feel it is fine. I have used it inside and outside and could easily hear and enjoy the music it was playing.It was one of the easiest devices to pair with my phone. It starts and stops without any hassles. I love this speaker!

This thing is smaller than it appears in the photos. Upon unboxing it, I was not expecting a lot. It paired easily with my phone and I was immediately able to stream some music to it. The sound quality is pleasant - neutral sounding and clean. Bass response is not great, but I didn't expect it to rattle the windows - it is very small. Altec Lansing was, at one time, THE standard for high quality sound reproduction. They dominated cinema sound well into the 1970s and original Altec Lansing equipment brings BIG money on the collector's market. This product doesn't shame the name it bears, but don't expect bone-shaking, ear breaking sound. It's just not big enough for that. I bought this for my wife, who simply wanted something she could take to the beach.She likes to listen to audio books and sometimes music, and this is perfect for that. She can clip it to her beach chair (it even comes with a clip for this) and clearly hear what she wants to hear, without disturbing everyone around her. If you want a good description of the sound quality, think good laptop speakers - WAY better quality than you'll get from your phone. It's a great choice for close listening (less than 15 feet or so) and the battery life seems sufficient. For the size, this little speaker does a great job. I'd buy it again.

Bought this to go in a Lego Retro Radio 10334 - sound quality is excellent, and the speaker fits neatly into the back of the radio. Quick to charge up and easy to pair with iPhone.

I bought this one for my wife, and she loved it. It sounds great, and she also loved its size and its color. Recommended.
