Some very good original recipes, particularly pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon ,and chocolate lava cakes. Well written and good photos with interesting commentary of Whitney's life. Recommend this for amateur cooks including children. Have fun changing American measures and ingredients into UK English.

Bought this as a gift for my wife, She absolutely adores the southern touch of cooking. I hope Whitney makes another!

My daughter and I watched this show throughout the whole season. We are from Mississippi so we were a little predjudiced lol. We were so happy she won and couldnt wait for her cookbook. It didnt let us down, the pictures were very beautiful and the recipes were simple to make without all the weird stuff you have to buy from special stores. We have only cooked one recipe so far and it was delicious. I love that they are simple and there are soo many we intend to try. We met her once and she was as sweet and beautiful as she looked on TV. Good luck Whitney in your future.

Great book, love it, use it alot, but some recipes could be a little better lol
