Condor Vertical Shoulder Holster

I wanted something that would handle multiple different pistols and this holster does it. It’s extremely adjustable, fairly comfortable, and it was a great price. Plus, delivery was fast.

A shoulder holster is probably not the best concealed carry option for me. I'm wider at the top but not anywhere near narrow at the stomach or waist. Once adjusted, I got this holster to sit pretty close to my body. Without the tie-downs, my muzzle tends to want to point away from me. I'm not sure if this is just my inability to adjust it correctly, but it feels like it's because of the way the pistol is suspended. I've tried various methods of trying to get it to hang straight down without the ties, but it may be a function of the type of pistol (a bit rear heavy) that is causing this. A more muzzle heavy pistol may work better. The tie-downs are pretty much required, in any case, and it does work just fine that way.The holster is contructed mostly of nylon with some elastic straps on the tie-down parts and on the rear circlet that holds the two halves together. This makes sense, and the elastic seems to be of decent quality. Adjustments are the expected annoying nylon type, but they do work well and hold well after adjustment.For a sub-$20 holster, I have to say I'm pretty happy with the quality. I have not found any stray stitching or frayed parts, all the nylon is cut and terminated well, not the loose or frayed ends one might see on some cheap nylon items, and the hook and loop attachments seem to be decent. This is probably not the most comfortable shoulder holster out there, but it is 10% of the price of a nice leather rig.I bought this mostly to see if this kind of a system would work for me at all, and also as an alternative way of carrying if it worked out. I sometimes have a need to not have a gun anywhere on my hip, and I thought this might be convenient for that. I like vertical carry because it seems like it conceals better and doesn't point the muzzle at everyone behind me. It only really conceals well under a jacket, it doesn't really work under a loose button-up like I was hoping. If a shoulder holster system works for you, or concealment is less of an issue, and you need something economically priced... this is not a bad option. I probably won't be using this a lot, but having the option will be nice. If you wear a jacket all day, this might work well.

Now before you see my three stars and think that this is just an "okay" holster, keep in mind this was the reviewer's first holster. So I lack experience with holsters, and also I am relatively small-framed (155lb male, 5'8"). But if was a solid three stars for me.The biggest issue for me was adjusting the thing so that the gun didn't move and was in proper position under my shoulder. I have tried various adjustments, ways of rigging the straps, watched videos on how to rig shoulder holsters, but the fitment is just not what I was looking for. The grip of my pistol pokes way out from my side, and the non-removable mag holder, while empty, creates a giant bulge. Even when I wear a giant, poofy hunting jacket, I look deformed and lumpy with this holster on underneath.So for OPEN carry, this thing works ok. Its somewhat comfortable when adjusted properly, and the Velcro straps around the holster hold the pistol securely in place. But you'd be better off stuffing your pistol in your pants for concealed carry. The butt of the pistol just pokes out way too far, and the mag pouch creates a giant bulbous bulge. They could improve this holster drastically by making the mag pouch removable and perhaps making different sizes.Maybe my pistol is too big to conceal carry. But this holster makes it way, way worse.

I bought this as a gift for my father who is ex military and really prefers a shoulder holster after years of wearing them. After reading many reviews I decided to go with this one. He also owns a gun that isnt extemely common either- Jimenez JA9. This fit like a glove, I would have thought it was made for it. Nice snug fit. We also tried my 1911 and full size H&K VP in it and the fit was the same. The shoulder pads have a nice soft padding with adds to comfort across the shoulder blades. I wouldnt, however, assume this would fit any "frame" as each side is adjustable and the back/shoulder connector does have some stretch to it and even at its largest was a close fit on my hubby who is 6'1'' 200lbs. I can imagine it would get more uncomfortable with a larger build. Some of the stitches are a bit loose so we will see how it wears over time. Overall seems very nice for the money spent. I will update after some time regarding durability. Good job on this one guys.

Liked the colour & adjustability but disappointed with the build quality because, as you can see in the photo, the stitching came away.

Ce Holster, pour lequel j'avais demandé s' il pouvait aller sur une personne de 120 kg, 1,91m, taille 7, costaud des épaules (travail du bois dans les forêts), pour lequel une réponse m'avait été faite par une personne d'un gabarit approchant, est un peu trop juste dans ses réglages et ne laisse pas suffisamment de marge pour être confortable. je lui fais transporter un pistolet semi-auto CZ shadows 9mm et deux chargeurs supplémentaires, mais il ne plaque pas au corps et pendouille de part et d'autre. c'est la deuxième fois que je me fais avoir avec ce genre de Holster, la conclusion est qu'il faut absolument faire des essais avant d'acheter. Je l'ai gardé car il m'en fallait absolument un, mais ce n'est pas un Holster que je recommanderai pour un gabarit de mon genre.

Bin sehr zu Frieden.Am Anfang hatte ich etwas Probleme mit dem einstellen und anpassen.Hatte es jetzt schon ein paar Tage beim Airsoft Spielen um mit ner Hi Capa 5.1 und zwei Mag's ... hat alles super gehalten und war bequem zu benutzen.Kann ich für Airsoft / Softair empfehlen.
