Im a professional barber and I sat on this blowdryer for a few weeks before I decided to buy it for my shop. I am SO glad I did. It's by far the best blowdryer I have ever owned. I actually really want to purchase it for personal use now I love it so much.I bought this when it was on sale for 99. Honestly at the price it is now, It is still absolutely worth it. I have had several clients ask me about the blowdryer and a few have even purchased it "for their wife." Suuuuure Ted!-Its extremely quiet. No more yelling or pausing the conversation during a blow dry.-its lightweight and ergonomic for my tiny toddler hands.-I dont use the diffuser a ton but when I DO? Yo Curly Sue is that you?-Yes, it gets hot. I rarely use it on the full heat setting. But I think the lowest heat setting works great as well and have had no clients complain about the warmth.-the cord length is AMAZING. In my quest for the perfect blowdryer, I found most cords are a maximum of roughly 6 ft. I have even found some that are...GASP...4 ft. These are way too short for the average professional. This cord is like 9 or 10 feet and its great.The one con, it has NO loop. I kept the velcro cord wrap on it and use that as a loop but its not ideal. It always slides down the cord and gets hairy (ya know, cuz its velcro). Thats the ONE bugaboo about this product.Overall, yes I recommend it and will continue to. Even when I dont recommend it, it catches peoples eye because it just looks slick. I love this tool so much. I had never heard of the Slopehill brand before this and now will forever be a Slopehill lover (am I laying it on pretty thick? Yes but its true!)

I have thick, multiracial, curly, coarse, difficult hair that takes hours to dry.But not with the his hair dryer. This dryer is a game changer for me. It’s also only .65 ounces without the diffuser and .80 with it and that’s very important for me because I need a light weight dryer. It’s fast, not too hot, has multiple settings and the diffuser and other attachments stay on. It’s also small enough to fit into a carryon bag. I am very impressed and happy with this purchase.

I am updating my original review to reflect their excellent customer service. Upon hearing of my issues with my original hair dryer, the company reached out to me to offer to send a replacement hair dryer. The replacement arrived quickly and is functioning well. I hope this one lasts and I appreciate the company's efforts to address the problem I have with my original item.Original review:This was great, until it wasn't. I loved this blow dryer for the first few months. It is lightweight, dries fast, multiple heat and fan settings, magnetic attachments, and a good blowout. Unfortunately, after a few months it started overheating and turning off anytime I was blowdrying on the highest heat setting. Fast forward another month and now it overheats and turns off on the middle heat setting. I also only use this 1-2 times per week. I can only blow dry on the lowest heat setting or with the cool shot. This takes much longer! I at least like to start on a high or medium setting before turning it down during styling. This is no longer very functional or efficient. And of course it is past the return window.

This product is exactly what I was looking for. Lightweight and powerful. But the service is outstanding.Unfortunately, 6 months after I purchased it, the heat stopped working and only room temperature air came out. I emailed the company to let them know, they gave me some steps to try to troubleshoot. When that didn’t work they issued a replacement right away. I got a brand new hairdryer in less than a week!! Amazing service! This is clearly a product they really stand behind. Highly recommend this hair dryerr.

I love this dryer so far. I was skeptical after the reviews but it’s working great thus far! It’s powerful, dries my hair quickly, and it’s very lightweight. The cord is very long so thats convenient when needed. I will update my review as needed.

The 5 stars are for the customer service. I had an issue with the dryer getting chipped and a crack and reached out to the seller. They quickly sent out a replacement dryer. The dryer itself is light and dries my hair well. It is quieter than my previous dryer and the sound is a little more high pitched- my dog was initially not a big fan. Fingers crossed this new one lasts a long time.

It’s a decent blow dryer but it has a couple of design flaws. I’m a professional hairdresser so I require a few things your average person probably wont care about.Pros:It’s a powerful little blow dryer with 2000 watts. Very lightweight and sleek looking. I’m not sure of the longevity of it since I haven’t had it for very long. It’s fairly quiet compared to my old blow dryers. I would recommend it to my clients who don’t require any heavy duty styling in a heartbeat.Cons:For one, the nozzle is very difficult to attach and detach. It’s also very stiff so it’s hard to swivel it around which I like to do with the different angles I aim at. Probably the magnetic attachment design would be better. Also, the controls are where I grip the dryer so I keep accidentally changing the setting. I wouldn’t recommend this to a professional hairdresser.I will be returning it and trying a different model. It did give a good blowout, but as I said, it was just too difficult and frustrating to use for me.
