mSorb® Molecular Sieve is the ideal adsorbent for both industrial functions and in the laboratory. Specially formulated with high crush strength and large surface areas. Synthetic zeolite materials are engineered with precise uniform and structured size pores which allow molecular sieves to preferentially adsorb gases and liquids based on molecular polarity and size. Applications are typically closed liquid or gas systems. Considered an ideal drying agent in polar and nonpolar media. Molecules adsorbed include; SO2, CO2, H2S, C2H4, C2H6, C3H6. The blue indicating bead is impregnated with an inorganic metal salt moisture indicator which will visually determine when the molecular sieve reaches saturation. The beads will turn from blue to beige when equilibrium capacity is reached.
