Famous Dave's - 6 pck, Rib Rub Seasoning (33 oz.)

I really enjoyed this rub but the reason for the three stars is not for the taste, I rate that at 5 stars. My rating is related to the size offered and pricing. First, based on using the rub liberally, one container will only cover two racks of ribs so I wish they offered larger containers to not have to order these smaller units so often . And the 2nd reason for the rating is that I found the pricing cheaper at another competitive super store.

My buddy bought me a shaker of this stuff from the restaurant and shipped it to me to try. It’s a great rub with just the right blend of spices to saturate your palate. Used it on baby backs, smoked in a pit barrel smoker, then glazed it in Famous Dave’s BBQ sweet and zesty sauce and finished it in the smoker for another 45 minutes. The glaze came out to perfection and the taste was spot on. I will be a regular for this product.

I only use this when I make chicken. The best crockpot chicken? Take a whole chicken, sprinkle this on the breast. Turn it over and put it in the crockpot. Sprinkle this on top of the chicken, and inside the chicken. Turn the crockpot on low for 6 hours. The best chicken ever! Nothing else needs to be added at all. If you want to taste the world's best gravy, put the drippings (there will be alot) in a pot on the stove, reduce it (boil it down) for about 5-10 minutes, add some flour (I use Wondra). EXCELLENT and the easiest dinner in the world.

We are huge on the Steak and Burger seasoning, so I decided to try the other two. Although they are good, I think we will stick with only using the Steak and Burger on everything.

My family has cookouts at least twice a month with feeding on average about 20+ on a Sunday evening after church requires good flavors when it come to steak burgers or chicken this is our go to product of choice.

This seasoning is great. So far I've used the steak burger one the most. I really dislike turkey burgers, but if you add that stuff to it they are actually quite good!! It's the only seasoning I've found to cover the gross turkey burger flavor.

I used this rub on ribs. I didn't add anything else on to the rub. I wrapped the ribs and refrigerated the ribs for 24 hours. The ribs were then put in my smoker. Tasted great. One bottle of rub was enough for 2 racks of ribs.

Sprinkle this liberally, both sides, onto those flat frozen hamburger patties that come in a bag from Walmart, Kroger or your favorite super market. You'll be surprised how good they taste after you grill them or fry them.

We have been using Famous Dave’s for years. We would by a bunch when we would go over into the United States and now that we are unable to cross because of the COVID closures we found it on Amazon.We like to use it on our jalapeño poppers. So delicious!
