Talens Royal 8 x 20ml Colour Designer Gouache Paint Set

I bought this gouache for doing some mix media art. I picked this one because compared to other similar small set, this one gives you a cold tone and a warm tone of each primary, so that you could make any color you want. It rewet nicely and it doesn’t have a very “powder” look. Good coverage. I always wish sets come with more white in gouache and acrylic and no white in watercolor. But oh well, it’s still a pretty good starter set. Color is rich , mix easily. Happy with purchase.

A bit expensive, yes, but definitely worth it than cheap gouache brands.

Diese Gouachefarben von Royal Talens erfüllen meine Wünsche an diese Farbsorte. Sie sind cremig, unheimlich pigment-intensiv und wunderbar zu verarbeiten. Hätte ich sie früher gekannt, hätte ich mir wohl den Kauf anderer Marken erspart.Mit der Packung bekommt man Weiß, Schwarz sowie je ein kühles und ein warmes Blau, Gelb und Rot, Farbtöne, mit denen sich beinahe jede beliebige Farbe ermischen lässt. Ich bin total begeistert, und wann immer ich ab jetzt Farben nachkaufe, es werden diese sein. Im Tiegel.Zum Weiß sei ergänzt, dass es sich um das Misch-Weiß handelt (vermutlich Zinkweiß). Es gibt von Royal Talens auch ein Deckweiß, das ist aber nicht Bestandteil dieses Sets.

I got these around the same time I bought a Winsor & Newton Set, these one are bigger and I feel the consistency of the paint is better too. They were much cheaper than the W&N set.Both are good sets, but I’ll probably stick to Talens in the future.
