Spot Shot 009128 Aerosol Instant Carpet Stain Remover, 14 Oz. (Pack of 12)

My husband introduced me to the magic that is Spot Shot. It works on nearly every carpet stain. We lived in an apartment with crappy old carpet, and before we'd have anyone over, we would "clean" the carpet with Spot Shot. This consisted of my husband spraying all the affected areas and me running over them (slowly, back and forth from different angles) with a vacuum. The fast-moving rolling vacuum brush instantly whips the Spot Shot into a lather and agitates the spots right out. Spot Shot seemed to have the hardest time on spots near the kitchen which, I assume, were grease-based. I also felt like the spots came back in a few days/couple weeks, but this was probably more the fault of the nasty carpet than the Spot Shot.I noticed some reviewers didn't like the smell of this product, but I don't think it's bad. It dissipates once the product has dried, and I vastly prefer it to the sickly, lingering smell of Resolve Pet carpet cleaner.

got one large older stain out (bed-wetting accident from former tenant's kid?) quite well after 2 treatments, but there was only enough product left to treat 2 other dirt stains once, and they aren't quite gone yet. and that was with larger size aerosol can, too.

I own a floor covering store. I have sold and used Spot Shot for years, It seams that I use as much as I sell because of the carpet installers getting stains on brand new carpet. It works especially good on grease type stains. One quick spray and the stain disappears. I bought a condo with new carpet and worker stains through out. I didn't have any spot shot and couldn't find anything in the town where the condo was, so I bought every product Home Depot had. None of the products worked well so I gave up, Next trip to the condo brought a can of Spot Shot and within minuets all stains were gone with no scrubbing.

I love spot shot. That’s what I purchased...not what was delivered. The industrial professional formula does not work.

This used to be one of the best products I have ever used. Not anymore!!! I am so disappointed. I have used it for years and it was like magic. Spray it on a stain and you could see it completely disappear. Not anymore!!! What changed?????

Absolutely the best spot carpet cleaner I have used. I am in an industry that we clean a lot of carpets and by far the best product out there.
