Good value for money

I bought this for boring holes out in tin plate. It really wasn't substantial enough to do it so if you are just using it for putting a few small holes in some soft wood or other similar material then this will work gor you. Anything more and you will be disappointed. I bent the main upright on the first go.

Not used it yet put it together looks like it could do with a couple of spring washers to tighten the handle up but other than that looks like it will do the job I bought it for

I was placing the drill in the hole when the whole thing sheared. Now it’s pretty useless. I had bought in December and only now got round to using it. Which obviously I can’t.

This is a lovely piece of equipment for any DIY enthusiast. Very easy to use and much cheaper than buying an all in one bench drill

You get what you pay for - and it is very cheap. Maybe ok for a one-off job.

Good item no faults everything in the box even a cute little Alan key.Downsides very cheaply built, main post is flimsy and crushed too easily so I shall have to replace that.Build quality continues to the press mechanism, the main pin is being pushed out with every use and the clamp is so loose it's challenging.I shall replace the main post but for now I removed the rear pinch bolt and put a longer bolt with a thumb wheel for more precision and ease of adjustment of hight.Base is way to light so will need bolting to something.It only just fit my drill might be better suited to a small battery drill.

Come da titolo ho dato tre stelle perchè per 25 euro non si può ottenere tanto....ma ne meriterebbe al massimo due per la struttura, deboluccia e quel che è peggio con troppi "giochi" ...dopo aver sistemato questi ultimi con qualche rondella aggiuntiva sulle leve, e un po di carta di spagna ad eliminare il gioco sul piantone di scorrimento diciamo che con un po di acortezza si pùò usare per piccoli lavoretti su materiali leggeri come legno,alluminio,plastica.. anche ferro\acciaio ma con spessori da pochi millimetri, quando si devono fare tanti fori e diventa comodo tenere\spostare il pezzo con una mano e usare il trapano con l'altra abassandolo con la leva e non dovendosi preoccupare della verticalità del foro...Un vero trapano a colonna è ovviamente un altra cosa,anche confrontato a supporti per trapano a mano da un costo anche triplo e una qualità superiore rispetto a questo.......
