Regatta Women's Mylee Waterproof Insulated Hooded Jacket

This is the 2nd of these coats I have purchased in the past few months. I bought the dark blue version just before Christmas and use it pretty much daily for walking my dogs. I have to remember to only wear one layer beneath it even on the coldest of days because it is so lovely and warm. I am 5ft 1 tall and it is mid thigh length so not too long, though the sleeves are, but they have velcro cuffs to keep them up, or loosen if you forget gloves.I've worn it in the heaviest of downpours, and for over an hour of rain and have kept completely dry, it also dries out quickly.The downsides are having to wash it in special waterproof washing liquid, it's expensive for a maximum of 2 items, and that it doesn't wick away moisture so I have to turn the sleeves inside out or it can feel a bit damp when wearing later after my morning brisk dog walk.Despite this, I love my Mylee jacket so much, I had to buy a second for non dog walking occasions as well.

I was a bit worried when the colour I wanted in the size I wanted was listed as '12' and not '12 UK' (a size option available with other colours) but it fits perfectly. Unlike most other coats I've wasted money on, this IS actually waterproof (a must for dog walkers like myself!) Snug but comfortable fit which is necessary to make it windproof. There are two flaps at the back with press studs which I prefer to leave open for a bit more 'give' when bending down with my dog! Two big front side pockets (big enough for smart phone etc). Only downside is that they are press stud closing so the inside of the pockets can get a little damp if you're delving in and out of them during your walk. Hood is big enough to cover your head and a hat but doesn't close round the sides like blinkers (another annoying thing about previous coats I've owned!). The collar zips all the way in a half funnel keeping you nice and warm. The cuffs have velcro straps that you can adjust if you have small wrists. Much better than elasticated cuffs. All in all, highly recommend this truly waterproof and windproof coat!

I'm a zookeeper and there is nothing worse than a coat that claims to be waterproof but when those downpours come it goes right through and you're left wet and cold for the rest of the day. This coat is perfect it keeps you dry and dries quickly when your not in the rain. lovely fit even covers a lot of my legs (above the top of my wellies that is)can't recommend it enough, does exactly what it says it will :)

Wanted a new waterproof coat for dog walking, despite buying more expensive coats I have found Regatta to be the best. Normally the hood is much too big however, with Regatta there is usually a tab on the back of the hood to be able to adjust it to fit. The pockets are nice and deep, the only negative is that the inside pocket doesn't have a zip closure.

Very surprised at how cheap this fantastic coat is. Great fit, semi padded for warm but light to wear. Great coat/jacket. I won't need a 'proper' winter coat as this jacket will do the job nicely.

This is a lovely comfortable jacket, which fits well. It arrived earlier than the time stated. Good price. Very comfortable to wear, nice looking jacket.

Love the coat but think should of ordered a size bigger...but kept it as dont put thick jumpers on...well made @ keeps you warm...quick to come great @ packaging ok to..
