WOLF-Garten Bow Rake 1647004

This rake's description does not mention that it does not come with a handle; you have to buy the handle separately @ $10.81 to be able to use this PART to make it functional. It is just an accessory in the Lefhheit system. I did not see anywhere in this product description that you had to buy the handle separately. Most people assume that they are buying a rake with a handle; wrong!!!The quality of the rake is very good but who needs a rake without a handle. :-( ;-( :-(

I really like the WOLF-Garten products. I have had one of the handles and a couple of the accessories for about 15 years, and they are still in great condition and used regularly. So happy that Amazon carries some of the accessories. The rake head will snap on to the handle securely. I bought this, along with a handle, as a gift for a friend. She loves the products, too!

This is a really nice sized take head for my mid size garden use. I am getting older and was looking for an efficient rake, sized to allow me to work without stressing my shoulders. There are larger rake heads but I found this size to be perfectly balanced in size and functionality with out experiencing any shoulder pain due to pushing / pulling larger quantities of dirt. This rake head is very manageable and as with all Wolf-garten products flawless in construction/ fit and finish. Used the wooden handle for the first time this weekend and have to say the wooden handle adds a nice feel to the rake head.

I love Wolf-Garten tools. Absolutely adore them! I've not found any of their tools to be anything other than top notch!! I am slowly, but surely, collecting it all. And every time I get a new piece I'm amazed at the quality and workmanship. This stuff is a lifetime investment. You'll pass it down to your kids. I have literally given my old garden tools away and gotten the Wolf-Garten equivalents. They're that good.Their Interlocken system is really ingenious. Especially for a couple like my husband and I, who are both sides of the extreme. He is a big, tall guy, and I'm really short and tiny. We can put a different sized handle on for any job. It's great! Even a regular old trowel can now have a longer handle!! You don't have to constantly get "down and dirty" for quick jobs.I use this piece for a million and one uses. Getting debris/leaves out of the driveway, leaves and clippings together, etc. I have the mini soil rake like it too, that gets in between the smaller, more delicate plants, which is great too. With this piece you do need to buy one of their handles though, as it does not come with one already. It's truly well made though, so for what you'd pay for a complete rake elsewhere, you can pick up this and a handle and truly have a lifetime investment!! That, plus being able to exchange the handle with other handle options, and it's just invaluable! I'm actually surprised at what I feel is the low cost for such great, adaptable, useful, and well made tools. I'm definitely a Wolf-Garten believer!!

The ability to change out the tools was one of the factors in my choice as well as all of the great reviews. I used it to break up the soil and remove the weeds and existing grass in my back yard (small yard - 500 sq. ft). It was pretty easy to help level out bumps, etc. My only complaint is that when you snap the rake onto the handle - I have the 59" metal one - there's a bit of wiggle on it, as in it's not a perfectly tight fit. It didn't affect the use of it. I haven't tried and of the other attachments yet so I don't know how tightly they snap on.
