TASCAMDR-05X Portable Audio Recorder & RØDE SmartLavPlus Microphone lavalier pour Smartphone

Don't buy the rode mic with the tascam unit as it does not work properly with the tascam unit. It was designed for apple products ie phone and I pad using their app. I used a different external mic and it worked fine on the tascam.tascam it's self it's a nice piece of kit so happy days. Mic was suggested by amazon as something that would go with the tascsm unit but clearly it was not designed for this type of application so therefore u gave 4 stars rather then 5 only for the reason of the mic being useless for use with this unit.
