## Description

Sugru Moldable Glue is the world’s first multi-purpose, multi-surface moldable glue, specifically designed to bond permanently to almost anything including ceramics, metal, glass, wood, plaster, stone, brick, rubber, most plastics and fabrics and even flexible materials. Sugru is resistant to water and high temperatures.Out of the pack, Sugru feels soft and pliable like play-dough. Stick it where you need it, and mold it by hand into any shape. From an ultra-thin, flexible patch to a robust wall hook, you have 30 minutes to shape it, smooth it and reposition as required. After application, this all-round putty hardens to a tough, shock-resistant silicone rubber within 12-24 hours (depending on the layer thickness). Its innovative formula means Sugru has hundreds of applications: ✔ Mount household fixtures without drilling ✔ Re-attach, replace or rebuild broken parts✔ Use it as a sealant and to patch up cracks✔ Fix and reinforce cords and cables, such as mobile phone chargers (up to 24 volts)✔ Patch shoes and clothes✔ Create custom grips for equipment and tools✔ Use it for arts and crafts✔ And many other projects - thanks to its unique properties, Sugru is more versatile than epoxy putty and super glue Recommendation: for all those looking for a versatile and simple adhesive solution.

Review: Interesting product with even more interesting applications. - I’m still not quite sure what kind of magic is in this stuff, but it works—and it works really well. I was skeptical at first when someone recommended it to me as a moldable glue that dries into a durable, drillable rubber-like solid, but it absolutely lived up to the hype. I used Sugru to discreetly mount a forward-facing camera into the grille of a car. I sanded down the adhesion point to give it more grip, molded the Sugru into place to create a strong base, let it cure, and then used screws to attach the camera bracket. It’s holding up great so far and feels very secure. It’s definitely a strange but incredibly versatile product. Whether you’re doing creative DIY work or just need a strong, flexible adhesive solution, Sugru is worth a try. Just be sure to prep your surfaces properly—it makes all the difference! Only downside is there is not a lot of it in each of the packets so you might need to buy more than you would think.
Review: Moldable in your hands, sticks perfectly, strong, easy to remove later, expire date is legit - #1 - They (really) expire, so watch the date. Once expired, they are partially cured in the package and will not fully cure when opened. This is important. I have used Sugru for many different repairs, enhancements, etc. The best thing it has done for me is allow me to attach my GoPro (the mount) to my motorcycle helmet or other curvy/irregular surfaces. Sugru molds how you need it, then cures fairly quickly in a day or two. It easily holds on to a GoPro, even in wind or getting knocked around - it won't accidentally come off. When you need to remove the Sugru, use a plastic scraper and it comes off in pieces, with some decent effort. But it doesn't damage the surface or stick so well that you need a jack hammer or knife to come off. It has perfect adhesion qualities for daily use but still removable without pulling a muscle or needing a razor blade. The creators really hit a home run on getting that part right. Impressed. Potential Uses: - GoPro mounting options, instead of an adhesive pad - put around a pencil to make it easier to hold for people with huge hands - desk sculptures - make a phone or pen holder for your desk - sticking something to a mostly smoothish surface (not a painted wall...it sticks VERY well when cured) - replace a missing keyboard button or a turnable knob on a radio or device - restore cable ends so the wires aren't hanging out Probably poor uses: - patch a hole in your oil pan - not chemical resistant - custom earplugs - it's only barely soft to the touch, still firm - furniture sliders - unless you are a 25 lb child - sticky tack for mounting things on the wall - your wall paint will probably come off with it - face mask - expensive for that much and would probably be heavy - making a spatula for cooking - I don't know.... someone should test this - patching concrete sidewalks - I don't think it would stick that well to concrete

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I have a small hole in my rubber rain boots (near my big toe). Can this be used to patch the hole?**
A: I think it should. I don't know if it's waterproof though. You could try rubber cement too.

**Q: Is this a good one for Headphones connecting wire ?**
A: Yes. It works well on any wires. I have used it for phone charging wires too.Be sure to work it well as directed. Also, they aren't kidding about the paper towel clean up. Wipe your hands with towels when done & then wash.

**Q: if i open a packet and only use half is there a way of preserving the rest to be used at a later time?**
A: You might be able to vacuum seal the unused portion.

>> never buy more than you need since this stuff expires over time, even in a sealed (new) package. <<

**Q: The title indicates that it has three packs of black, but the image suggests that the package comes with three different colors. Which is correct?**
A: It has three packs of black. Amazon must have mixed up the pictures. We will try to get that fixed.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Interesting novel material that seems to have many potential uses
*by D***H on March 31, 2016*

When cured it is low in tensile strength, but it seems to adhere well to things that other adhesives won't. When I saw a description of the material I immediately thought of an automotive problem: The gasket on the glass moon roof of my 1998 Nissan Pathfinder had shrunk, leaving about a 3/8" gap into which water would pour during heavy rain. The gasket is made of neoprene rubber, and even the best duct tape will not stick to it. Sugru seems to have bonded well with both neoprene and glass, and I am pleased to report that I had no significant flooding in my SUV after today's rainstorms. The idea of an air-curing silicone that doesn't have volatile non-polar solvents or ammonia intrigues me. My only negatives so far are that the stuff has kind of a lumpy texture and doesn't seem to be moldable into a highly precise form, and it's not particularly strong. I think it has a lot of potential for repairing seals, and cushioning moving parts that are prone to colliding. It's rather pricey, and once you open a container you have to use it all at once. Planning is essential. Congratulations on the inventors for creating a truly novel material! I suggest marketing it for automotive purposes, as there are a lot of rubbery seals on motor vehicles. Thanks for the opportunity to try something new.
