Cute toy. Works fine, but is loud
I read a lot of other reviews of this that had mentioned it being loud. Yup, they were right. It works fine though and my son loves it. Good overall buy. Just make sure your child plays with it in another room.

a waste of money!
I was very disappointed with my purchase. The amount of noise it produces when running is so distracting that I cannot have it running when I'm working at my desk. It makes a "grinding" noise. A waste of money and totally unnecessary as it simply consists of a small motor with blade attached. Should be nearly silent.

Great Windmill but very Noisy when motor is running
Great unit, but is very noisy when you turn on the motor, spins at the right speed, just noisy when you turn it on, I was wishing it was quit because I have it on my office

Good purchase
My son is autistic and is very into different types of windmills. When it came in, it was quite a surprise how big it was ( which is not a negative comment) and it's speed ( it went at a good, steady pace) my son really enjoys it

Loud & Annoying
Looks coolBUT...is not fun to be aroundIt is louder than an electric razor...the sound is comparable to a dentist drill...it is quite unbearable, especially for my dog.I disconnected everything and so now it can freely spin at least...but no more motor!I am really disappointed

This is so cool!
Perfect when you looking to start your HO train layout with a functional modern wind generator. RPM perhaps a little high, and if I was using on a large layout I'd hard-wire it, but for me, as a doll prop / light-painting tool it is completely awesome!!!
