Q: Is this enough for 1 gallon of resin?

Sorry for the delayed answer to your question!! Although 50 grams could be sufficient we highly recommend using 100 grams (2 containers) for full coverage/color.

Q: Can you use this for automotive paints? Basecoat or mid/clearcoat??

Thanks for the question! Absolutely you can. We recommend in the base coat or the mid clear coat as you mentioned vice the final clear. Mixing it straight into the base coat has great results to change the tint of the base color. Now, this color (Beetle Blue) has several hues in it and the base color will effect the overall appearance. As with any pigment or paint, PLEASE perform a sample spray before full application. This pigment typically requires no less than 50 grams per gallon. Hope this helps!
