Flip Travel Charger for Nintendo DS Lite

Bought it a while back because my replacement DS Lite charger broke down - that lead to the mistrust of replacement chargers, so I've decided to go for the cheapest one. It was meant to be a disposable replacement before I was going back home, just for the sake of trying to get my DS to work so I could at least have some fun waiting for my flight. I didn't expect it to last long due to the cheap price, but wow, it lasted longer and better than I've expected, and it's still working after 6 months. Will definitely get another one if this ever breaks, and I'd say look no further if you need a replacement charger! **UPDATE** I'm really impressed by now. This product served me for about 1 year already, and it still functions perfectly! I'd bet this charger will perhaps even outlive most of my friend's DS Lite.

I was rummaging through boxes in my basement and came across my old Ninendo DS Lite. I thought, PERFECT, I can give this to my 4 year old and maybe he will relinquish my iPad. I looked and discovered I had the games, the carrier, the stylus, but could NOT find the charger! FOILED!! I was worried that because this was at least 6 years old I wouldn't be able to find a charger without paying through the nose. How wrong I was! This is an affordable charger that works as advertised! It charged it up nicely and continues to work. Now the key is actually giving it to my 4 year old! I'm having so much fun playing it myself, I keep telling him it's "broken" and mommy has to "fix" it. :)

My son says "give it FIVE STARS!" so I'm giving it FIVE STARS! LOL! So, first off, apparently it charges his DS. He appears satisfied with the speed at which it charges it. He likes that it's gray and not black "like all the other chargers for all the other thingies" so he can tell it apart. He likes that the prongs fold into the back, because it makes it "more neato than your [mom's] charger thingies". He wants me to use my label maker to put his name on it, which is going to possibly make it even cooler. But other than that, it's already as cool as it's possible to get. So, there you have it. A review by an 8 year old. If you need a charger for your DS, this one comes highly recommended by my 8 year old son. :)

Following our annual Independence Day family reunion, I discovered that one of the grandkids left this behind. After checking the cost of mailing it to her, I realized it was more economical to buy this and have it delivered directly to her. I worried a little about the fact that it was a generic version, but she now has it and says it works great. Next year, she can pick up the old one when she comes back.

To those of you who recall the beloved DS Lite, I was stunned to actually fine a charger for the unit. I came across my old unit when I was clearing out some things in my home. However, I misplaced the charger and needed to get a new one for my unit. Surprisingly I found this seller and the price was great. I certainly would support this seller again if I need them and the item is great.

Okay so i received the charger yesterday (April 6)in the mail it came right on time so 5 stars on that one. when i plugged it in it worked fine just fine I WAS LIKE YES >:} but it recently stopped working like f-ing 20 minutes ago =o it was probably because i was using the ds at the same time ( pokemon heart gold) :} Any way it cost me like 4 bucks total because of the shipping and handling. Overall it arrived on time ,but it lasted for only 1 day. SO ! it was only 85 pents tho so what do you expectz as my bro says . So i not gonna buy again. EVAR! TABLE FLIP EXIT! I just recently got back into my DS. I love Nintendo and all of their products. However, the chargers are sometimes hard to find. This charger is great just like a normal Nintendo charger and cheaper! I haven’t had any problems with it yet. I use this for my 2DS and my DSI XL.

My grandkids are at my house A LOT. They each have a Nintendo DS and one night they were fighting over the single charger. I went on Amazon and found these. They were here in just a couple of days. End of fighting, well, at least fighting over the Nintendo chargers anyways. Every so often, I have to re-order, as they tend to grow legs and walk away, but I'm pretty sure that's not the fault of the product. They are inexpensive enough that the occasional replacement is not a big deal.
