Lesions/Hyper-pigmentation caused by the Zeo - BEWARE!
Like many who purchase a Zeo Sleep Manager, I have trouble falling and staying asleep, and hoped that the sort of monitoring the Zeo could provide would enable me to find 'good sleep hygiene' practices that would work for me.After three nights of use, huge lesions appeared on my forehead at the points where the sensor and headband came into contact with my skin. After a quick google search, I realized that I wasn't the first person to experience a bad reaction to the sensor and headband -- numerous others had experienced what Zeo customer service likes to label "acne mechanica".The lesions on my forehead were NOT acne mechanica. I contacted Zeo customer support, and included pictures of the pus-filled, painful bumps that were raised from the surface of my skin almost half an inch. It was clear that the defect was either a manufacturing or design defect, and I felt Zeo should be the one to refund the price of the device. They wouldn't, and directed me to Amazon. Amazon graciously and immediately refunded the entire purchase price.Over a month later, and the lesions have finally healed, but have left discolored skin commonly referred to as 'hyper-pigmentation'. My general doctor suggested I see a dermatologist, and said that it would probably take retinoid or laser therapy to remove the spots. Again, I contacted Zeo customer service. After nine days, someone finally contacted me with a mostly scripted response from their representative (Ms. Fornino). I asked that they pay my insurance co-payment for a trip to a dermatologist, and to pay for the treatment to remove the scars caused by their product. They have made no response.I simply want to be put in the same position I was in before using their defective product - nothing more, nothing less.Beware a product that causes issues that aren't disclosed to consumers, and beware a company that won't stand by its product.

THIS COMPANY HAS GONE OUT OF BUSINESS
Edit:According to the BBB, Zeo, Inc has gone out of business[...](Via internet research) I called a company that recently invested in Zeo Inc, to confirm. They confirmed that it has gone out of business. They said it is possible that the product will be bought and sold again to consumers by another company.In the meantime, there is no customer support for repairs, apps, replacements, etc.The investor was very kind to give me one of his extra Zeos when I told him about my problem. It sounds like he only has a couple, so this is not a long term solution for Zeo users.I'm still giving this product two stars because it was a great product, but I recommend that you DO NOT BUY IT, as many users seem to need technical support, and it is no longer available. Also many of the web features are no longer available, and from talking to the investor it sounds like there will be little to no web support at some point in the future.Original Review (three stars):I loved my Zeo. I didn't have any problems with the headband, and it was comfortable. The tracking seemed accurate. The Android app was great and easy to use, the web tracking app was the same, and the coaching program was useful and enjoyable.Then, two weeks after I purchased my Zeo, it started running out of battery partway through the night... and within a few days, stopped working altogether.I communicated with customer service via email, and after some trouble shooting, they told me to send it in to be fixed or replaced.That was in November. In January, I contacted them to ask when my Zeo would be returned. They told me that they had already sent it, and their tracking information indicated I had already received it. I told them I had *not* in fact received it, and they told me they would look into it. (I have Amazon Prime and use it regularly, and have no problem with product delivery.) Then they disappeared.The next thing I got from them was a mass email telling me that they would no longer respond to customer support emails, but I was welcome to use 'the new Self Service Customer Support Center' online.So, I did at one point have a Zeo. It was very nice. But given the short period of time I was able to use it, I'm not sure the value for money was there.

Don't count on getting the receiver
I ordered this thing. I received the head band, sensor and charging cord. The cell phone receiver looking thing did not come in the box. I contacted the account. After some back and forth emails they sent a second set sans receiver again. I contacted Amazon and they made it right for me on the money. I ended up using my iPad as the receiver. It works great. The sensor works well too. I have not complaints with the performance of the sensor. Just be sure to buy it through Amazon.
