The best deal for 2700k bulbs of its wattage and type. Exceptionally low power demand. Light quality is excellent and a trues 2700k. Just keep in mind that it does not look like the old incandescent bulbs, it has a fraction of a second delay in turning on, and it dims down differently from other bulbs, so replacing a whole set might be preferable - I mixed them in with older LED lights and nobody notices.

They are not glass!!!! And last a long time!!

Used on pot light with a dimmer.Quality is solid and the dimmer does work with these.I bet will last longer than what originals had.Would buy again

BR30 LEDs with warm (2700K) incandescent-style light for indoor use. This is the sort of bulb that goes in the "can" fixtures in my kitchen.Like many LEDs, there's a very slight delay on power-up. No delay on power-off. Good color light, nice and steady. 7W is slightly better, more power-miserly than average for 650 lumens. By comparison, my other (B)R-30s are in the 8-11W range.I knock my rating down one star for only one reason: I don't like the type of plastic on the face of the bulb. Between use & age, this type of plastic often ages poorly-- dimming the bulb well before it fails. Remember LEDs don't really dim with age, but the plastic lens may yellow or get cloudy.These are still new, so I'm just speculating for now, but that's the only possible area of concern I have with these bulbs. If you still have them in 13 years (the lifespan on the box, if you use them 3ish hours a day), how will that plastic look?At this point in the game, LEDs are a no-brainer. There's no household lighting use that shouldn't be LED. They use the least power, have the lowest overall impact, are the easiest disposal, and last so long that the savings on replacement time / stocking / shipping would alone make them worthwhile. Buy LEDs of the lowest wattage you can find, and then sit back and don't worry about the lights anymore.

We bought these to replace the "old" curly-q type bulbs in our kitchen ceiling. These come on fully bright where the older bulbs had to "warm up" to be fully bright and these are really bright. Extremely happy with these and have bought another pack for replacement when any goes out.

Does just as advertised

The quality of light makes a big difference to me; we'd had one LED die in the kitchen and the first replacement we got despite being a "soft white" was significantly colder and bluer than the others. This bulb was much nicer and matched the nice warm glow we were after.It's the little things...
