PRISMACOLOR PRISMA PNCL UNDR THE SEA SE/12

I wanted to buy a small box to try them. They were so amazing that I bought the largest box available. They mix really well, they don’t disappoint. I used them on Strathmore Colored Pencil Paper, as many people recommended and I’m very happy with the result. People also love Pastelmat by Clairefontaine, a bit pricier but the best for many.The box is a bit tricky to open, and it’s made of card stock, as expected. But it stands. Be aware that only 18 out of those 23 pencils are softcore. The other 5 are verithin. I didn’t use those 5.

Love it! Delivered a day early. The lead is surely creamy, blends fantastically. And learning to get used to this type after using regular colors. But I’m in love with Prisma surely enough. Would recommend!

Good for starters

I found it hard to find the black prismacolor pencil in black #935. I usually buy these pencils at Michaels in the colors I need but lately they are not replaced often enough, so when I found them on Amazon I decided to buy this particular color in a quantity of 12. They arrived in good condition, so I have no complaints. They were shipped in a box and were in a bubble lined envelope for protection of damage. They also arrived within a few days.

I love the range of colors in this pack of colored pencils. They perform incredibly well, and have an almost creamy texture when using on paper. You can blend the colors and layer them to get a myriad of color variants in your drawing. These pencils sharpen well, meaning you won't grind away half of your pencil because it breaks. These leads hold up to serious use/pressure and don't snap when you are using them for fine or bold heavy lines.

I bought this to take with me on the go for sketching when I have down time. This are some of the best colored pencils I have used. They are a bit pricey but they are worth every penny. They come off so smooth and blend very well. I have not had an issues with broken leds in the pencils either. So I always bought the common brands like crayons for school but sometimes my daughter complained her hand hurt when she had to color too much for certain classwork in third grade. I got her these and she says it’s a huge difference, the point doesn’t break as often, it colors so nice and smooth that she finishes faster and it looks so much better. I got her another box to keep at home!
