Refoss Wireless Garage Door Keypad Purple Learn Button, 315MHz Chamberlain/LiftMaster/Craftsman, Keyless Entry for 3 Garage Doors

I wanted a keypad opener for my garage, but I didn’t want to have to deal with the wiring. Since I have been very satisfied with some other Refoss products, I decided to order their wireless keypad. I am glad I did. The entire set up had taken less than 5 minutes. It could not have been easier. The kit came with everything you would need. Their video on the amazon website was very simple to follow as were the directions that came with it. The keypad is soft and responsive. The numbers and symbols are easy to read, they also light up at night. The protective cover is built well to keep out any rain or snow. I like that it uses a 9V battery and there is easy access to change it. I only have one garage door, but it can service three garage doors with a different code for each. Having the Refoss wireless keypad gives me peace of mind, knowing that I don't have to carry around a remote. If I have to give a friend access to my garage to borrow tools, I don't have to be there. I can just give him the code. If I need to change the code, it is easy to do. I don’t have to worry if I forget my keys or need something out of the garage. It gives me peace of mind.

I have a pull through garage, and the back door never got a keypad placed by the garage door guys. It was always a chaff to have to walk through the house or around the side if the door was closed and I wanted access. (Yes...I can open it with my phone, but I don't always carry my phone around with me if I'm in the backyard working). The garage door guys wanted $50 to get another keypad. I opted to find my own. This one was SIGNIFICANTLY less expensive and was so easy to install and program. Just make certain your learn button is yellow. No issues with the keypad, and it has made my access to the garage so much more convenient. Highly recommend if you're in the market for a keypad for the garage door.

Can be a little tricky to set-up initially. Be careful to follow the instruction sheet carefully. Was surprised to learn that it can be programed to operate up to three garage door openers using three different access codes (as long as they all have purple "learn" buttons, of course). Small green LED that lights up as you press each code button is a bit hard to see in bright daylight. Would prefer to hear a beep or tone as each button is pushed (would have earned a 5-star rating).

This thing is junk. As other reviewers have said, it can simply not be programmed to work. I bought it for a model of opener that it was supposed to work with and that had the purple learn button, so the problem is not mine. I wasted over an hour trying every trick I could think of all to no avail. Also, as others have said, the battery comes already plugged in, which is not good. AND it fits WAY too tightly and is a bear to get out to boot. The instructions, while in english, are bad as well and hard to follow and out of sequence. And a little tip to the manufacturer, put the reset button somewhere where we do NOT have to unmount the unit, which means removal of the tight fit battery, unscrewing it, etc. JUST to get at the reset button to use it. After messing with this, I bought a different brand unit and I was DONE in 3 minutes! Amazon, you have got to start vetting the stuff you, sell, as you are wasting our time and effort and inconveniencing your customers by selling garbage that has to be returned AFTER wasting a LOT of time.

Very easy to install.No batteries (AA) include.Mouting screws ARE included.Instructions easy to follow.Installed in less than 10 minutes.

The reason why people are unable to get these to work is because they either got the wrong model or are not following the instructions. A video on youtube from the company could be helpful as it took me 5 tries to get it right. also the reason why you must enter a code to close the garage door is because you can control multiple garage doors with one keypad. imagine having one button and all your garage doors open/close. that would be counter productive. 5* from me.

Took all of 10 minutes to pair and mount.I have a purple learn button. The remote took less than 30 secs to pair and operate - on the 1st try.Please note the only difference between the OEM remote and this one is the door wont close when pressing the ENTER button. You must enter the 4 digit code to close the garage door.Since this unit was nearly 30 dollars less than the OEM, It's a no brainer. My OEM remote lasted about 6 years before it started to malfunction, crack and unpairing itself. Time will tell how long this unit will last. I will update if any issues occur.

Easy to install and program. Simply press the button on you door opener, and connect. Works well with my personal pin. So nice to be able to enter my garage when outside and not in my vehicle.

My current unit is a Chamberlain. I read step 1 then did step 1 etc. Dirt simple. Instructions are simple and clear. Installation and setup took 5min.I did use my own alkaline battery.Only difference this unit has from the Chamberlain Keypad.... is that i now have to enter my pin to close the garage door. Which makes sense because it can control up to 3 doors.Actually one other difference is that a Chamberlain Keypad is more than twice the cost.One other note this Keypad comes with a 1year no hassle warranty.

Wel packaged, very easy tonconnect make sure you get the right colour for your opener. Amazing price

This is garbage and waste of money. It works when initally set it up but stops work next day. Then reset and added to the opener agian but same result. Missing the feature of one touch door close.

Dislike having to renter code to shut the door. My chamberlain remote only requires you to press enter to close the door
