Great little extension tower
Finding myself short of power sockets, I decided to take a look at the Klearlook 10 way extension lead tower. Having various protections included was a must, but I hope to never have to put these to the test. 10 sockets is probably overkill for my current needs, but I thought the design and size would suit the intended purpose and location. Plus it allows me to expand without having to worry about unplugging devices to make way for others. In the past, I’ve only ever purchased strips, so this is my first tower. After opening my Amazon parcel, I found a box, quite a bit smaller than I was expecting (which is good). Although I had seen photos of the tower, as well as reading the product dimensions, it seems much smaller in your hands. This means it’ll take up less room on my desk/cabinet - great! Removing it from the box, I was presented with a nice looking, light-weight plastic tower. The plastic material seems to be of a higher quality than some of the cheaper extension strips I own. It’s unlikely to fall on the floor or get trodden on though, so this won’t really get tested. Hopefully, I won’t have to see how well it does in a fire either. After finding the cable curled up nicely in the base of the unit. I unravelled this all the way, then proceeded to plug it into the wall socket and connect a few devices. As mentioned above, 10 sockets is probably slightly overkill. I’d never need to use that many devices at the same time. But having rows of 4 sockets (top and middle), then a row of 2, plus 4 USB sockets, all with their own on/off switch, means I can just switch things on as I need them. I can have my TV and games console plugged into one row. A lamp, laptop or miscellaneous devices plugged into another. Then my phone charger and/or USB leads into the last. Having things arranged this way, I only have to flip the switch for the row I wish to use/switch off and not have to keep unplugging cables all the time. Brilliant! It’s early days, but no problems experienced so far. It seems like a very nice little unit. The only negative I can find (being very picky) is how the cable leaves the unit through a gap in the base. There seems to be holes for a couple of small screws and a cable clamp (like when you wire a plug) to hold the cable in place, once the desired length has been chosen. I’m unable to find any screws or a clamp in the box, or any mention of them being included. This just means that the cable can sometimes come out of the gap when the tower is moved, meaning it may not stand flat. It can be easily put back into place though. Making the gap slightly smaller, so the cable is a tighter fit might be a solution for this. As my tower won’t be moving anywhere once everything is plugged in, I don’t find this a real issue. When the cable is in the gap, the tower is pretty sturdy. A great little tower. Thoroughly recommended.

Great little tower and good value for money
I'm really very happy with this product. In fact, I'm so happy I bought a second one! These are exactly as described, they're very neat, don't take up much room and have the surge protection which means I feel much safer when using them. I've had towers before, but the taller ones with no surge protection, in comparison to these they're really quite ugly. These are much more unobtrusive, in fact I've got one of them on the unit behind the TV, where it can't be seen. You couldn't do that with one of the taller ones, it'd look silly! There's 10 plug sockets and also 4 USBs, and I love the fact that I can turn each row of plugs off individually. These also light up so you can see exactly what you're doing. Some things need to stay switched on - recording boxes, phone etc, whereas my TV in particular, I like to switch off at night as there's always the possibility of it being a seat of fire. Also with the USB sockets included this makes them even more indepensible, which means far fewer wires lying around, and everything looking much neater. All in all, these are great, would I recommend them? Yes without any hesitation whatsoever.

Solid and Versatile
Very poor grammar and spelling mistakes on the box lets down the product that seems to be of good quality and full of safety features. "Save space, the fashion colour, overload protection and a key control" just doesn't make much sense and I assume that "Anti-thunde technology" (sic) is a marketing term, but if "anti" anything it should be anti-lightning, but the SPD on the graphical icon is perhaps more in keeping with what would be a more accurate term for the feature which is "Surge Protection". It is well designed but would be improved if it had USB-C instead of, or in addition, to the four USB-A slots as they are being phased out. 10 A/c and 4 USB-A outputs, on/off switches for each layer, in-built, safety features, a decent length of cable where any excess can be tidied and a carry handle makes this power strip tower good value.

Well-designed, plenty of outlets including extremely useful USB ports.
I was looking for a home solution for all my plugs and cables with appliances plugged into various gang way extensions safety and convenience became a concern. In looking for a replacement I found the Klearlook power strip tower on Amazon and this appeared to address all my concerns and needs. Everything is tidier and much more convenient because the long 2m extension cable means I no longer have to crawl on my knees under tables, behind bookcases and around furniture to switch off mains sources or unplug and swap things as the tower has individual switches for each of the three levels of power outlets, of which there are ten with a further 4 very useful USB ports and a carry-handle on top so the plugs and sockets never need to be handled other than to insert or remove the plugs. The tower can be kept on a desk or discretely on the floor, or with the handle moved as required. I am already wondering how I previously coped without such useful USB ports as now I can leave USB charger cables with the tower without having to find precious available ports on my computer every time something needs charging. It also features surge/lightning/short-circuit/over-current/over-heating protection and cut-off so if it is as safe as is claimed then I am very happy with this product. So much so in fact that I immediately bought a second one for the rest of my gadgets and appliances and have been using both for a couple of weeks to date without issue at the time of writing. The product is made in China and for those wanting CE reassurance the product has CE marking and inspection sticker, indicating it conforms to European health, safety and protection standards, this CE marking can be found on the base of the unit.

A great charging device
I used the Power Strip Tower at my charging point for mobile devices, cordless phone, battery for grass mower etc. It is much neater than flat power strips and has 4 USB sockets in addition. The mains lead winds round the inside of the base to enable only the length required to be visible. The tower is light but sturdy, with a handle for easy pickup. It is not designed for travelling, hence only 3 stars. it would be nice to have a switch for each socket rather than 3 in total (one for each layer) and something to hold the power lesd in position would be helpful. All in all a very useful and attractive piece of kit.

Why did it take me so long to buy one??
After spending years deciding what to plug in and what to leave out of the average extension lead I finally bit the bullet and got an extension tower. I’m so glad I did as I can now plug absolutely everything I need into one unit. It’s extremely handy, especially nowadays with all the usb charging products we all have. As this has 4 usb sockets separate from the wall sockets it makes life so much easier and quicker. The main lead that plugs into the wall is 2m long allowing plenty of flexibility in its placement. As long as what you have to plug in doesn’t exceed 3000w then you’re good to go, so not ideal for the likes of kettles and irons. But other than that you can plug in pretty much anything you like. Really glad I finally bought one of these. Highly recommended and well worth the money.

Brilliant product and very much recommended
I think like a lot of people at first being set up to work from home I was just happy that everything was working but now it’s going to be a longer term thing I really wanted to get everything tidied up and sorted. This tower has completely rearranged my working set up for the better, doesn’t look out of place on my desk and moved the horrible tangled cables & plugs for under my desk into a much more organised way on to the tower. As well as the plug sockets for things like my monitors and laptop the additional USB ports mean I have ported there for charging my phone and tablet without having to even move away from my desk. The way the tower is sectioned into 3 areas, with their own switches, means that I don’t have to have all these powered up at the same time and the overload protector just gives me that extra peace of mind. Would highly recommend!!!

Independent power offs swkitches failed
The item works but one of the power switches for each of the three rings didn't operate on my unit. It wouldn't switch off, but I can still use all three rings of switches. Otherwise a good item.
