He said it is the most comfortable and stylish boat shoe he has ever worn. The shoe is made of high-quality leather that is durable and water-resistant. This is the second time I bought these or a near variation of these shoes. I get them because they look good and hold up well. The cheap shoes from the "warehouse store" only last a couple of months tops. I got 2 years out of my first pair of these and almost as much out of the near variant. Yes, they cost more, but do the math and you will figure out that the Sperry's are a much better deal. They are also comfortable and the sizing runs very true to my other shoe purchases.

True to size, good material

I bought the Sperry Billfish 3 Eye Boat Shoe to replace the Original Boat Shoes that I’ve worn for years. Since the originals had a tendency to “overspill” the sole with time, due to my wide feet, the Billfish offered a unique design that holds its integrity. Even though the quality is good, the finish of the shoe facing the top side of the foot seems to be a bit cheap - a better quality leather finish would make it feel more consistent. Even though the shoe is a 10.5W, it feels quite snug - wish it was available in 2W or 3W width. This is stretching a bit with time to make it work. However, the toughest issue was what felt like an exaggerated arch support, which initially left me in pain after extended wearing. It’s getting less painful, but is taking well over a month to adjust. Using a slightly padded insole cushion has helped make it more comfy. Even though they were not perfect, right out of the box, I am making them work and feel that they will retain their shape better with time. In all, they look good, but could use some redesign/quality control intervention to address fit & initial comfort. That being said, I would give it an overall 8 out of 10. Hope this helps.

A modern version of the old reliable Topsider. Cushioned sole with good grip, very nice insole, a little mesh mixed with soft leather makes these comfortable for a full day on the boat followed by dinner and drinks. An all around great shoe!

They are a tight fit so you might consider moving up a half size. I like the look and the quality.

I am a lifelong fan of Sperry boat shoes. I can’t believe how uncomfortable these shoes are. The last is uneven with ridges that dig into my feet. If this is the quality that Sperry is now producing, I won’t be purchasing anything from them again.

Although looks great but not comfortable at all. Right shoe bites. Edit on 13 Jan 26... They sent me the wrong size. I ordered UK 9.5 but received US 9.5. Unfortunately I saw it today.
