This review is for the Armchair Fiction reprints of the classic 1927 texts.The front cover features the rarely reprinted revised 1944 cover art by Arthur Scott, the back cover features the original 1927 cover art by Walter S. Rogers.The book is standard Digest (Trade) Paperback size, similar to the original release. The text size also matches the original release and larger than Mass Market (Pocket) Paperbacks.The paper stock is standard paper, better than Mass Market paperbacks but not as good as the Syn-Sine Press reprints.The cover is shiny, not matted, resembling the newer Grosset & Dunlap hardbacks.This is NOT a reproduction of the original publications like the Applewood Dust Jacket Hardbacks were.This IS an easy-to-read reprint which brings the original texts back into print and available for all to enjoy at a lower price.

I really enjoy reading all Hardy Boys books.

Ich muss sagen, die liebe die Hardy Boys Geschichten. Sie führen einen in eine so herrlich altmodische Welt wohlerzogener Söhne, die niemals Fluchen, kochenden, herlichen Müttern und Vorbild-Vätern. In unserer Zeit, wo leider sowohl in Realiter wie in der sog. Unterhaltung alles flucht, lügt und Familien zerbrechen, ist dies wie ein wohltuendes, warmes Bad. Natürlich ist es Eskapismus pur. Aber in einer dunklen, gebrochnen Realität ist es ein schöner, heilsamer Ausgleich in diese Welt einzutauchen.
