Love that the smell is not overpowering. Very subtle scent and oil is unscented which we wanted. The shampoo and conditioner has a very nice calming scent and same with the balm. High end products and feels great on the skin and beard. Will buy again and again!

got it just now, but the comb is missing.will update review if i hear back from the seller on the replacement.----------update: the seller got back immediately. he mentioned that the comb has a habit of slipping behind the Styrofoam. and sure enough, when i checked it was there. so all good. changed rating from 3 to 5 stars. mostly because of the promptness and knowledgeability of the seller.

The wash and conditioner is great, smells good too

This product is absolutely amazing. The change I saw in my beard was absolutely stunning. On the first time that I used it I noticed that it was much softer, and easier to handle. The second time it got even better, the third, once again, Even better.The shampoo has an invigorating mint scent, it works well for your beard, and you can use it on your face and hair too.The conditioner has a calming, cooling feeling to it. It works to soften out your beard, and make it easier to work with.The oil is great, there is no scent to it. It's very smoothing to rough beards.The balm works exactly as intended. I've never tried beard balm before, I think that it could be the best beard balm out there, but I'll never know because I'll just stick with this one. Why try another when it works so well for me as is?The scissors work as intended as well. They are just the right size for styling and shaping your beard and mustache the way you want it.The only things I personally think are missing from this kit are a pair of larger scissors to be used in trimming finger-width-length beards, some tweezers for greys, cheek bone, and brow care, and some kind of a carrying case or bag. It's not really a complaint, just something to point out. I bought those things separately.One thing I noticed is that when I use this kit:When I use the shampoo, then leave in the conditioner for 5 minutes or so. Once I finish and rinse the conditioner, immediately towel dry, then immediately put in the beard oil lightly.About three drops of the oil for a short beard, five drops for a finger-width-length beard, and seven or more for a full beard.Then I warm up some of the balm in my hands, (just as much as I can get on three fingers by lightly running my fingers over the waxy surface), then put it all over in your beard. Then, using the brush, brush up, down, left, and right motions throughout your beard. Then style it with the brush the way you like it, I just smooth it down.Conclusion:Applying the oil and balm immediately after washing and conditioning leaves your beard feeling soft all day. Use everyday and the ladies like a clean, soft, good looking beard. This package does the job perfectly.

The package arrived in an attractive sturdy cardboard box with a foam insert to secure each of the items. All items were present and arrived intact. The E book arrived in an email shortly after placing the order before I even received the package. The beard wash and conditioner work very well and a very small amount of each are required to do their job. They have a very slight, pleasant scent which is soon undetectable, as I wanted a scent free product. The oil works great and only a couple of drops are needed per application. There is a very slight oil aroma (which is understandable) that is very soon undetectable. I was surprised that the oil did slightly help maintain the shape of my 'stash. Some of the other reviews mentioned an aroma they did not like, that I did not detect which may be due to my sniffer not working as good as it used to and is wearing out with other pieces parts. One aspect that attracted me to this product line is that it is made in the USA. My beard is only about an inch+ long, therefore I haven't used the beard balm yet, so I have no comments on it. I have had many longer beards over the last 40 years and they were coarse, unruly and stiff. These products are making my beard much softer and I can't wait to see how it will be in the future. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a set of products like this.
