Philips SH71/50 Shaving Heads compatible with Philips Shavers Series 7000 (S7XXX) and Series 5000 (S55XX), replaces RQ12/70, RQ12/60, SH60/70, and SH70/70

Well in the past I've purchased the copies of these and even some that purported to be genuine but off both eBay and Amazon, and they never gave a great shave so thought I'd buy originals from a genuine seller known seller and my lord what a difference, so much smoother in use and a closer shave, my shaver is back to like new again. Straight away even the packaging is so obviously genuine and far more robust. Ok they're 2.5 times the price of the cheap ones but worth every penny. I will be buying these in the future.

Wow, what a difference. My first Philips corded shave lasted 15 years with the same heads . Had this one 4 years and recently started so notice it wasn’t shaving as close and I was shaving twice a day. Thought it was an age thing ( I’m 59) and that my facial hair was getting thicker and harder to cut. Having read that the recommended blade replacement period was 18 months ( sales pitch ? ) I decided try new heads as cheaper than a new shaver.Though about buying the cheaper non brand blades but honestly for something you use every day why take a chance to save £20 ?Have to say what an amazing difference. When I first put them in and tried the shaver I thought they were not working . The shaver moved effortlessly across my face , so much quieter, i actually took them back out to check they were in properly ! My shave is now so close that my skin is smooth again, and I have lost the ‘shadow’ that had gradually appeared over the last year or so ( my wife even noticed and said I look so much bette ! ). When I changed the heads, I noticed an immediate difference - clearly, my old heads had been blunt for some time; the heads are still pretty sharp, and I think this was a worthwhile investment rather than just ditching my existing razor.

They are genuine philips replacemnets so quality and fit are perfect, although on Amazon they are cheaper than the Philips web site. These were a direct replacement for my original SH90 heads for my S9711. Easy to install and they make a huge difference when shaving. Defentley worth paying slightly more than the many copies available.

Easy to put in the shaver and great in the shaver. At the end of 2024 I needed to replace the blades and couldn't afford these at the time so ordered one of the cheaper options (much cheaper), I'll be honest, unless I shaved every day the non Phillips blades tried to rip my face off, pulled the stubble out rather than cut it!!!! If you need Phillips blades, buy Phillips blades, I know they are expensive but there's a reason for that!!

My series 3000 that I've had for about 4 years now had started acting strange, one of the blade covers was spinning with the blades which was very interesting I must say. I debated replacing the blades or just getting a new shaver all together because I wasn't sure what had caused this fascinating phenomenon but in the end I decided to go for the official replacements.Installation isn't too hard, it's very straightforward and you can't really do it wrong, the new blades fixed my problem and it's working perfectly again although I can't say that they shave any better than it did a week ago when my 4 year old blades were still functional.Can't say I'm happy with the price, it seems extremely expensive for what you get, nearing half of what I paid for the entire shaver, either way if this lasts me another 4 years I suppose I can live with it.
