I use the Home Brew Ohio Cobalt EZ Cap bottles mainly for storing water in sunlight, and they work perfectly. The cobalt glass feels strong, seals tightly, and keeps the water fresh. The EZ cap is very convenient and leak-proof. Simple, durable, and great quality bottles. Highly recommend!

This is a really beautiful, solid bottle. I love the cobalt blue- very calming. Nice, thick glass, and holds a good amount of water or any fermented beverage- about 4 cups. With cap securely on, it is leak proof (I tested it). If leaving a full bottle of water out in the sun, I would recommend either not closing the bottle or leave a few inches up top if closing the cap or keep the cap loose. In the sun/heat, it will expand and can crack the bottle if pressure builds up inside from expansion. I also watched a short video on how to properly get the cap on these grolsch flip-top bottles. I tried to post it on here, but Amazon would not post my review with an outside link. Just look it up. You have to put some muscle into pulling down the lever (do not worry it will not break,) and it will work perfectly fine. In time, it will get easier to open and close. At least, it is very secure. Overall, very pleased with this bottle and would purchase again.
