I am still playing around this this trying to find a better way to use it. But for now it atleast provides lumbar support and makes the piggyback carrier system just feel more comfortable overall. I don't have the bar attached to the belt device, I just simply wear it and everything just feels better.

GREAT weight distribution and super comfortable
Serious back saver. My husband's lower back is fused, so we bought the add on belt for our PBR. GREAT weight distribution and super comfortable. Relatively breathable.
