They will securely keep and support my growing plants in place. Very pleased.

I actually use these to float a cutting in a jar for propagating. Super easy to lift up and see what’s happening with the roots.

While I “think” this may be a good thing in the long term, so far it’s been really tight on the plant stems. I think I just need to snip out more of the center as the plants get larger.

I usually just use a cut up pool noodle but thought I'd pick up a bag of these just to have around. To get things started, they came in a simple ziplock bag. No frills, nothing more.Pros: They are very sturdy, and there was exactly 50 in the bag.Cons: Apparently they don't have a QC department because nearly all of them had a flaw in them. Some were not cut correctly, others were not cut at all, and still others had either half a cut on one side or the center plug wasn't punched through. I checked about half the bag and only found 4 that seemed "completed correctly".Go with a different brand, this one is simply not worth wasting your time with.
