This seems like an overall great mask that is low volume, fits wide variety shape of faces, and had great field of view.Pros:1. The two types of silicone material seems to provide both great structural stability and also comfort/fit.1.a. Stiffer silicone gives the mask a good structure that allows it to keep it's shape.1.b. The softer silicone is comfortable against the skin but also helps with creating a better seal to prevent leaks.2. Fits a wide variety of face shapes. I've had my struggles and know the general shape of many different brands. This one should fit a medium/narrow to wide face. The shape of the skirt should fit a medium face size best but the soft silicone really allows it to mold to the individual's face. I have not had the chance to take it to the ocean yet but I can usually get a pretty sense of fit on land.3. Great seal. The skirt is extended a bit, particularly around the top of the mouth. This makes it harder to break the seal and where I tend to have issues.4. Low volume. This makes it easier to either free dive or equalize. Only potential down side is reduced field of view.5. Great overall all field of view. It doesn't extend as much down and the side but it is pretty close, at least 85-95% of the best regular volume masks out there. This is due to how close it sits next to your face/eyes.6. Pivoting connections for the straps to the mask. This will allow for better comfort especially for longer sessions.7. Large nose cavity that should be able to accommodate most people.8. Comes with a compact case for storage or transport. It is a hard plastic case that can give it adequate protection.Cons:1. Lack of color options. Some people like some bright colors to match other gear or make one more readily visible for safety reasons. It only comes in the black/dark gray color.2. Lack of finishes on the lens as an option. The elite version has a tint but doesn't have liquidskin. Different tints or mirror finishes are preferred by some but may not be an issue for others.3. Price is on the high side, particularly for free diving/spearfishing mask that is made of less material. Most mask of this type is usually within the $50-$60 range, so this is slightly more expensive.4. Slightly restricted field of view. This is listed as both a pro and con. It is a pro because it is very good compared to other free diving/spearfishing mask but it is still slightly worse than normal mask that isn't focused on ultra low volume.

Nach einigen Fehlkäufen habe ich mir die Mares bestellt. Nach 3 Tauchgängen kann ich sagen, dass sie (für mich) wirklich ideal ist. Der Druckausgleich geht super von der Hand, fast als halte man die blanke Nase zwischen den Fingern. Sie ist dicht (hängt natürlich von der Gesichtsform ab) und beschlägt nicht (Reinspucken und reinigen genügt). Man könnte ein etwas grösseres Sichtfeld haben aber das stört mich persönlich nicht. Ich kann die Maske für Taucher nur empfehlen, für Schnorchler könnte ein besseres Sichtfeld besser sein.

A falta de probar las gafas pescando , en un primer momento son más cómodas que las star sin la tecnología liquidskin y resultan más cómodas incluso que las viper , buenas gafas poco empañamiento después del tratamiento .actualizado me filtran agua por varias zonas tiene muy poco faldón aunque sea muy suave

E' un ottimo prodotto che uso da 15 anni. fortunatamente Mares la produce ancora e posso trovarla senza problemi. Morbida, piccolo volume interno, buona visibilità. Per me il massimo!
