Can this be used overnight with hair in castor oil? Or will it absorb the oil and pass it through and stain my pillow?

Some use this for deep hair conditioning and sleep in it. The shower cap will keep the oil in and will not stain your pillow. After you use it, you can turn the cap inside out and rinse then hang to dry.

I've tried other high end shower caps and they are too small. How well does this fit larger heads?

Not well at all. I am unable to wear hats sold in stores as they are too small around my head. Baseball caps have to be adjusted to the last few holes. This was too tight around my head and did not cover my whole hairline.

Is the material non-toxic?

It smells really toxic to the point I don’t use it. I am not certain what the company says. I’m a curator and I know the smell of materials off-gassing and this cap still reeks after being out of the package for a week.

Is this product lined with a terry cloth? Or is it just plastic inside too?

This is SO HARD TO PUT ON! It does NOT pull over from the back - as it doesn't stay and shoots up as you pull forward - Going the other way doesn't work either. Big fail - I literally had a much better time with those cheaps ones from hotels!
