Review of Vaughan B215L SuperBar, 21-Inch LongI bought a cheap 15 inch knock-off of this tool from Harbor Freight a few years ago just to see if this form of pry bar would be useful to me. It has been.With a big siding-removal project in the works I decided to invest in a better quality version, and get something just a bit longer. Turns out it was a very good decision. The quality of this tool is far superior to the HF knock-off. As another reviewer mentioned, the ends and nail pulling slot are nicely ground. Seems like it's made with higher quality steel as well, since this 21 inch bar is not much heavier than the knock-off even though it's 40% longer. It's a very good size and weight for removal of plastic siding, easy to carry with me up and down the ladder all day. Quite good at nail pulling, although there are specialized nail pullers available that will do a better job in really tough situations.Helpful tip: I hang this bar from my work belt using a small steel hook (riveted to the right side of the belt), to keep my hands free for other tasks (like holding on to the the ladder :-) ). So far it's worked like a charm, the bar has not fallen off once in may weeks of use.Having experienced the quality difference between this well made tool (USA) and the Asian knock-off I would buy the Vaughan again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

This thing is awesome. It was great to rip up a hardwood floor since it was easy to get underneath each board. Some pry bars have very thick ends & cannot wedge between floor boards & sub floor. Not this one! Perfect! And it's amazing how much more leverage you get with this 21 inch version. I've had a shorter one but needed some extra force to help get the floor up. Worth every penny. Also, this bar kicks butt at pulling nails. The curved end makes it a breeze as long as the nail head is accessible.Purchased in March, 2016. Confirmed it is Made in USA.

Using this product to remove old flooring and carpet. Is as advertised, heavy duty and works great on baseboards as well.

I use it for straightening electrical conduits or demoing whatever or using it as a wedge. Love that thing

Best crowbar on the market!

Gotta have one of these for home remodeling and general hobby or pro use. The steel seems to be a good quality high carbon steel......tough and spring-like but not brittle. Any new homeowner should have one of these in their toolbox, that's for sure!

This is pure USA quality. I have used it ripping out my old deck and it worked like a charm....stay away from that knockoff Chinese stuff and buy the real deal. This is actually made with steel made in the USA.

Looks and feels strong, nice features (nail removal is a breeze), flat ends are very convenient when space is tight (removing nailed floor boards for example). A very dependable tool to have.
