Question 1

What are the wiring instructions?  The colors on the new lamps don't match the colors on my trailer.

The gray wire (running lights) on each of these lights would be connected to the brown wires in that diagram. The red wire (brake/turn signals) on each light would be connected to the yellow wire on the left side and the green wire on the right side. The white wire (ground) would be connected under one of each light's mounting bolts. Be sure it has good contact to the metal. If the wire colors on your trailer don't exactly match those in the diagram, just remember that the running lights will be the same color wire on both sides of the trailer and the brake/turn signals will be one color on the left and another color on the right.
