I Love You So Much... (Marianne Richmond) Hardcover – Picture Book, August 1, 2007

This book is the same as I Love You So by Richmond, except children of color grace the cover and pages. It is awesome! I loved her book Hooray for You, but had to use markers to make the children in the pictures look more like the ones to whom I read the book. It is a lot of work but definitely worth it becuase children NEED to see themselves represented in their books, movies, and on TV.When I saw I Love You So, I had to get it becuase of the wonerful message. However, again I had to try to alter the beautiful illustrations in the book. It is peeeerfect to have the words with the brown faces already there! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

I think this might be my all time favorite book! My kids love it and they are 10 and 3 yrs old. I can not read it without getting teared up. My children are with us thru the miracle of adoption and this book is just amazing - and it is perfect for anyone - I have bought about 6 of them in both versions and give as gifts because it is just so and fun to read! It makes you feel all warm and fuzzy!

I must admit, the fact there is a brown skinned family on the cover pretty much sold me on this book as it's hard to find children's stories representing different colors of skin. But after reading, I can't help but recommend this book to ANY family. I have a hard time reading this to my kids without tearing up myself. The author did a great job of showing how much "so much" is. The illustrations are beautiful. This is a must buy book!

I saw this book in a store and had to have it. It made me warm inside when I skimmed through the pages. I am now on Amazon purchasing copies for my god child and another child, plus an extra copy for my twins. It has become our new favorite and will be with us for years to come!

I purchased this book for my nephew and he loved it so much. My mum used to read it to him all the time and soon he was able to follow along.
