Takeuchi Yuko plays "Aoi Yoshiko(Jinko/Gene)" a woman scorned by her ex in the most inventive fashion and the drama is the sometimes hilarious, sometimes serious journey of growth she has to walk as he suddenly reappears in her life again.

Fukigen na gene a good series.
I really like this series. It's good at blending between the comedy and drama/romance. I would recommend this series to be people who like a good romance story with well placed humor, and don't mind the creepy crawlers, a.k.a. insects. The other nice thing about this series is that the science is more then just a backdrop for the setting but feels very much apart of it, and reveals truths of the human nature.

Too silly to finish watching
The way the story presented is silly. Couldn’t finish the first episode. If I had seen the trailer, Most likely not buying it.
