This is actually a great desk. It is a goo size and very sturdy. i have had it for a few weeks now and there is no wobble or creaking at all. I am very glad that I purchased it. Many of the reviews say that the worst part is the instructions and putting it together. Honestly, it wasnt that bad. I did it in about an hour. Yes, the instructions arent great, but it isnt very hard. Just like your typical Ikea product. The keyboard drawer slides out exactly 7 inches, which I think is plenty of space for my keyboard and mouse, etc. It isnt very deep, however. So when it is closed, it is a little more difficult to use the keyboard/mouse. But I still do it all the time. But anything that is tall or thick (padded wrist rest for keyboard or mousepad), you may have a problem using the drawer when it is closed, but not when it is open.I love the look and style of it. Very classy and simple. I love the glass top, but be warned, it gets dirty easily. Im not a very messy person, but just from finger/hand prints, maybe a ring from a drink, or whatever else, I tend to need to clean it every 2-3 days or else it gets pretty noticeable. And somehow the underside of the glass gets dirty too, thats still a mystery to me.But all in all. It is a great desk and I would recommend it to anyone. Plus for the price...so cheap!!!

Impressed all the way around
I just finished putting this thing together, and I am totally impressed. Not only was it a great price, in my opinion, but also a great product. If you like the design, do not hesitate. Full assembly is required, because it comes completely broken down ... NOT a partial assembly required situation. The instructions were honestly minimal ---- consisted of a few pictures, which was a little frustrating at times, but everything ended well. The end result was strong, stylish, and stable. Really couldn't ask for more. I was impressed with how everything lined up, and came together without any issues, and no missing parts. I had to undo and redo a few things because of the vague directions, but overall I'm happy and impressed. Would recommend, and would definitely buy again.

Once it's assembled, it's a good desk.
Assembling this desk was mildly challenging. If I hadn't ready access to a workshop with a couple of power tools, I wouldn't have been able to assemble this at all. The instructions aren't perfectly clear so far as the orientation of assembled pieces - the word-free assembly guide is reasonably clear what goes where, but not which direction the holes should be in regards to later assembly, so it is a trial and error process. Two of the holes in a metal piece wouldn't thread the screws and required boring out with an electric drill. One of the holes in the wooden legs had been drilled shallow and also had to be bored out. I had to forcibly deform the leg assemblies to get the holes for the tabletop supports to line up enough to get the bolts through them. A bit of advice - don't install the keyboard shelf board until after you've got the bolts that hold the tabletop tightened, especially if you have large hamhocks like mine. Once it's together, though, it's a pretty good computer desk - study and solid with only a slight amount of monitor shake from keystrokes (if you've got a heavy hand) and virtually no lateral wobbling. I like the fact there is no shelf underneath as I was constantly kicking the one on my previous desk. The keyboard drawer is wide enough for you to use your mouse there and keep the desktop clear. Assembly time for me was about two hours including the time it took to find the right power tools to finish the job. You think that one of these companies would include a quality hex tool that doesn't hurt the fingers when you're tightening up the hex bolts. Also, you'll need a Phillips head bit on your drill to assemble the keyboard drawer's glides and mount. I couldn't drive those by hand even after I'd bored out the holes. Once you get it done, it's a good desk - just be ready for a struggle.

Fantastic Value and Purpose
I love this desk. I am an avid Amazon shopper as well a thorough review reader of all the products I buy. I read all the good reviews and all the bad. I tend not to buy products that have more than 25% of bad reviews. On this desk, it was much less, but read the bad ones anyway and noticed a pattern that made me think some of the people who bought this desk really just didn't think things through with regard to assembly.InstructionsSo the biggest complaint was that the one page instructions were terrible. Yes they are not the greatest, however, they do tell you where every single screw goes to assemble by number and size. If you lay everything out and look at each number closely, you are golden.Piece orientationSecond biggest complaint was how the pieces are oriented to fit together properly. Most of them are pretty obvious, a few you MUST to a test fit/alignment to make sure they are in the right position. I can tell you in my experience, that during assembly, a few holes were not where they were supposed to be. Not because of faulty design or manufacture, but because I had something backwards or i grabbed the wrong section and tried to assemble it and said "Oh, that's not right because I grabbed the wrong piece, whoops". Check, check and double check you have the right piece before you start getting angry and want to throw the thing away and post a bad review.QualityIn my opinion, this desk is designed, built and functions really well. Is it worth $75? Mehh. Id say $50 tops is the right price point for it but it is what it is. The glass top is tempered, so thats a plus for quality, function and of course safety. Im a metallurgist (study metal) by trade so I know most everything metal. The steel is run of the mill mild steel, however is strong and durable. Another big complaint was the keyboard tray. I saw nothing wrong with it or the sliders. Were the pre-drilled holes aligned with the receiving holes on the sliders? Yes. Were they big enough to receive the counter sunk screws? No. However, no big deal people!! Take a small drill bit and go in just a hair down to open the holes and insert the screws, walah!,done! This desk is really a good buy for your inexpensive search on a desk. The color option compliments a majority of home interiors. A bonus in the looks department is that the legs are real wood, not compressed particle board. Overall, this is a great product. I assembled it fully in an hour flat. The reviews of taking hours or days to assemble are absurd. Those are the people that just lost patience and gave up.

OK, once it is assembled.
This little desk is fine, but the assembly was a bit of a chore. I have been a homeowner for 50+ years, and I have assembled a lot of things. There are very few where I needed help, but a second pair of hands certainly helps on part of this. The instructions are really lacking. The keyboard drawer has a bracket and slide for each side. It is important to know which is the left, which is the right, and what is top on the slides, but nothing tells you. There are steps of installation that are mixed in with other steps which would make it easy to skip something. Be sure and tighten nothing until it is completely assembled, because it is not very precise, and you will need to tweak things to get it to fit. The last piece, the glass top, is also a little difficult to fit into place. I was concerned about breaking it, but it worked OK. The only reasonable way to attach it meant lying on my back underneath it while fastening the bolts.. I like it fine now that it is put together, but a word of warning; you might say some bad words before you are finished.

Contemporary Desk
Sharp looking desk. Thick glass. Came packaged really well. Just perfect for the space in our condo. Fairly easy to assemble. Would buy again.

Outstanding value and customer support
I've been involved in woodworking for over 40 years. I would say for the price this represents an outstanding value. The wooden legs for this are made out of plywood, so I don't see them failing anytime soon. All of the bolts are substantial enough that I also don't see them breaking. The steel is more than adequate thickness for the job. The top is double strength glass. While it would be nice to see this a little bit thicker, it's also adequate for the job assuming you don't put a ton of weight on it.Assembly was pretty straightforward for me. I would say to leave all of your bolts loose until everything is assembled, then to a final tightening. Figure about an hour.Negatives: I received two left tray supports, and one of the silver "mounts" for the glass top had excess glue around it. Finish is sub-par, but okay. Instructions are pretty much nonexistent. There's just a diagram of how it goes together, but really it's not that difficult if you study the drawing, and match the correct bolts with the correct parts. All of the bolts are clearly labeled and shrunk wrap, so you don't have to go dig through a bag of parts. They even give you a small Allen wrench.I called customer service, and did not have to wait more than 30 seconds for a representative. A very pleasant woman answered my call. I explained to her I received two left supports for the tray, instead of a left and right. They took down my personal information and shipped out the part the same day via Fed-ex.Outstanding customer service! Overall I'm giving this company five stars. I cannot imagine building this thing for under $100, let alone shipping and packaging across the country.I think this represents an outstanding value in this day and age, and customer service was again outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend or buy again despite some of the shortcomings.

Very nice finished product, not the easiest assembly
An attractive, very sturdy (if assembled properly) computer desk for the price. As many have mentioned- assembly instructions leave a LOT to be desired. I've seen worse in stuff coming from China, but these are pretty poor. Here are some assembly tips that would have saved me a lot of time. If I had to put another one together- I'm guessing I could do it in a third the time. Several of these tips are in the comments but I'm consolidating them in one spot:1) Leave all bolts/screws a bit loose until completely done and then go around and tighten all. Holes don't always line up properly and a little "jiggle room" can be helpful.2) The only screws that can be tightened fully is the first step- I'll call it step 0 since it's above step 1, mounting the keyboard glides to the brackets. These screws are difficult to get started but do work and get considerably easier to screw in once they get a few turns in. Have the right size screwdriver and apply generous force. Mount the glides as far forward- towards the front of the bracket that the holes will allow.3) Others have mentioned that the keyboard drawer does not pull out far enough, I agree. I have a gel wrist rest that sits in front of my keyboard and that causes the function keys and even part of the number row on my keyboard to be under the glass top. To resolve this I mounted the glides as far toward the front of the bracket as possible (mentioned above) and also the keyboard drawer when fully pushed in is a little over an inch inside the glass top. I drilled new pilot holes for the screws on the bottom of the keyboard drawer 1 1/4" closer to the back of the drawer. This pretty much resolved the issue.4) The round tubes that make up the frame in most spots have a concave or "dented" hole on one side of the tube. That is the side the screws go in otherwise they will probably not be long enough.5) The screws to mount the glass top to the frame are barely long enough and have a blunt tip which is difficult to get through the cork "pad" on the bottom of the aluminum mount on the bottom of the glass. I used the allen wrench to punch a hole through the cork and into the cavity. It is also difficult to get any leverage on the screws for the front tube as the keyboard drawer is in the way. I found it easiest to put the glass top upside down on the floor and put the frame on top of it. Insert the allen wrench all the way in to line up the holes, some manipulation may be needed.Enjoy and good luck! :-)

Pero he podido solucionarlo.Estoy contento con la compra. Era lo que buscaba.

Not possible to assemble
As previously mentioned , holes are misdrilled. I am only at the begining of the assemly , not sure what else will pop up.Update: furter had to use different screws, but even with that table is not stable.Wasted few hours with this one. After i wanted to put on the glass top, i saw that glass is completly shattered.Be nice to yourself dont buy this.
