Great first impression. Really comfortable and roomy but snug!
Literally, the first day of receiving these, so I may update once they’re more worn in. Motivation for buying them was for gym weight training. Please treat this as first impression:Slightly heavier than I expected, but not to any detriment. They feel substantial, so my feeling is they’re a hybrid between barefoot and a running shoe.I have wide feet and I’m really happy with the fit.Zero packaging experience, just literally arrived in a plastic clear sealed bag. The elastic draw laces are thin. Effective, but bit concerned they might fail in time. That said, they have a clever Velcro end to prevent the loose send from flapping.I have size 12 up feet, and I’ve gone for 48’s, which fit really well.I’d say the heel strike isn’t great, but I appreciate that’s kind of the point of barefoot running, that you don’t heel strike.Feels like good integration of fabric to rubber sole.In short, really happy with them. Hoping they serve me well.

NOT a barefoot shoe
I gave it a try since these are about a third of the price of Xero shoes. However, the title is misleading, as this is NOT a barefoot shoe. There is no noticeable heel drop and the sole is relatively flexible, but there is a very high arch support that turns my foot to the outside. They also run small, and the toe cap is really stiff and uncomfortable, and not quite wide enough. Not a whole lot of leeway with the adjustments because of the way the laces are set up, either, so it's hard to stuff your foot in through all the padding. I'd say half a size bigger would fit ok, and this would be a comfy shoe and looks well made, but I HATE having arch support and my toes crammed together. I am not happy with this purchase and will hopefully be able to process a return once the system catches on that I have received them.Tl;dr: 1 star for false advertising

Too small and narrow, and (surprisingly) narrow as well
I ordered 9.5 because that is supposed to be equivalent to European size 42. The shoes I received have a sticker on the bottom with "42". My size 42 Birkenstock sandals fit my feet perfectly, however these "size 42" shoes are far too short. My toes are literally jammed into the ends. Also, I was surprised to find these shoes to be very narrow. I have an average width foot and these shoes are quite tight on width. The "wide toe box" advertised is barely sufficient for my "normal" feet. If you have wide feet I would think twice about these. I am returning them and will not be ordering another size because it feels too much like rolling the dice. Will size 10 fit? Will 10.5 be way too big? Waste of time. Sorry.

Super comfortable, great grip
I am fond of Merrell's trail gloves, but they tend to be a bit expensive and too colourful. It's getting difficult to find a plain dark coloured one. These are much cheaper, and feel more "barefoot", including the "Vibram 5 finger"-esque look (which I am honestly not too fond of. But they are very comfortable to walk on. They're also better ventilated and feel cooler. They are more cushiony than the Merrell's trail gloves when walking around. I don't run in them, so that's fine. I use them for office work, where I need to sit in an office chair and move it around. The fantastic grip is great for this purpose, as I hate it when I'm trying to push the chair forward and backward while seated and am unable to get a good grip on the floor to do this easily. The fact that the soles curve around the heel and the toebox only makes it better.

Great Alternative to 5-Finger Vibrams
I had a pair of Five-Finger Vibram shoes for many years and really liked them. When they finally wore out and smelled a bit more than I was willing to put up with, I started looking for a replacement. I started out looking at Five-Finger options, but the pair I had were no longer available, I didn't like the replacement options, and the price had gone way up. So I purchased a pair of Oranginer Men's Barefoot Shoes to give them a try. The first pair I purchased were great -- very comfortable -- although not big enough to wear with socks. I bought this second pair in blue, a half-size bigger, to wear in the winter with socks. They are my go-to shoes when I go out for a walk, which is almost every day.

Comfy shoe and easy to clean.
Wore them all summer with no socks, was able to wash them in the sink and they were dry the next morning. They fit very close, I bought a size larger and socks are not an option. The doohickeys that control tension in the laces are fragile both broke soon after purchase. This didnt matter as the shoe fits snug enough on its own, but still worth noting.I wont be buying them again but that is not the fault of the shoe. I just bought these to see how I like the minimalist style. Moving on to a more pricey pair in hiking boot format.
