Berkey water filter for your on the go bottle
Pretty good water filter, it does its job however it doesn't seem to last for a very long time but then again maybe I just drink a lot of water. I would say if you have the on-the-go Berkey water bottle then you definitely have to get these filters to go on your straw. Better than tap water, haha!

This is my first time buying a replacement filter for the travel Berkey. It was really easy to set up & makes the water taste great again. I could definitely tell when it was time to swap the filter!

IT WORKS!
It is going to do exactly what it says. I have had mine for about a month and it works great. It’s a little had to get on the water bottle and before you use it you have to squeeze water through it.

Questioning authenticity/functionality
I have used the Berkey sports bottle for many years and this is the first filter I put in there which did not give off any blackness when I cleaned it for the first time and when you suck on the straw it is way too easy to get the water out ! The taste is not good I can still taste the chlorine. It says Berkey on the bottom but it doesn't matter to me if the filtration doesn't work. I don't know if this is a knock off or if there is a defect in manufacturing but it should not taste like this. Very disappointed.

Ideal water filters.
Contingency water filters count. These small versions of the "Berkey Black Filters" are foreign made yet attain Berkey's high quality standards. (Reading some of the reviews concerning clogging; they must be properly dried between uses. No pathogen can get through and most chemical toxins are prevented. A salt taste? Scary!
I don't know why there's a strong saline taste on these- I got ones several years back but now they all have this problem.I have to soak them in water for a week to get 97 percent of that salt gone.The bottle + filter very useful for travel in Asia
