Prym 611523 12 cm Professional Thread Scissors, purple

I should have returned these straight away as they do not work. I'm talking about cutting THREAD. it can cut properly but only if you happened to hold then at the right angle and use a certain part of the blade. I'm assuming they are FAULTY as other people manage to use them well. I had read reviews before I bought, but they have never worked properly. 2-5 goes to cut thread at the end of the seam is crazy.

I decided to buy some decent snips. I've had years of cheap and cheerful. Well, these seemed to fit the bill. Sadly, they aren't as efficient as I'd expected. They don't cut if there's no tension on the thread. Not always convenient. I wouldn't buy again

I am sorry to say that my item isn't sharp. I bought this one as it has a soft grip and with arthritis in hand it is one less motion, so less painful. The cheaper fully metal version clips much better. I am really sorry I spent so much money on it!

The blades are too far apart in places to guarantee that they make a clean cut, or any cut, each time when used.Would not recommend or buy again

Not sturdy enough to keep the two blades together when cutting cotton threads. The gap between blades can be quite wide depends on how you hold it. It is hit and miss with more misses than hits. I thought it would be quicker using Prym than using normal scissors but I was wrong. I sent them back and was given a prompt refund.
