My Chevy truck had side panels that were factor installed (glued on). Eventually they started to peel off which forced me to remove them before they fell off, but they left a gummy residue. This wheel took off only the residue, but no paint. Moved from spot to spot, going back if needed. From flopping panels, to black gummy residue, to a clean look, this disk performed better than expected. For about $10, my 10 year old truck looks way better and nothing I can think of would have been cheaper or better for the task. I don’t have any other projects this minute, but there is plenty of wheel left for other projects in the future.

Great product. It removed any silicone from the surface of the car without affecting the car paint, it doesn't heat the car paint at all, unless you insist way too long, but it's really safe for the car paint.

The wheel works great to remove decals and adhesive. A light touch saves a lot of wheel diameter. Just give the wheel time to work. No damage to the underlying paint.

I use the item to remove 3M tape that’s left over from wheel weights. It removed the sticky residue quickly and with a wipe of a rag and some brake cleaner the wheels is ready for more wheel weights. Does not scratch paint. Don’t go back and forth between using it on a rim then car paint. Pick one I guess 👍 good tool.
