I have tried both and prefer this (molding paste). It is a bit creamier and easier to use and it doesn't weigh the hair down like the separation wax, in my experience. **Q: what does it smell like?** A: I'd say it had a very light cologne smell to it. It's really faint. **Q: Is this paste good for styling thinning hair?** A: It's "okay". I switched back to Sticky Rice after trying this out. Then I found Uppercut which I've used for a while. It's really a matter of personal preference. Also, this product is better for short hair and nothing longer. **Q: What kind of hold does this product have?** A: Weak hold. Barely keeps a faux hawk in place. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ افضل منتج في العالم *by D***A on 23 December 2023* ممتاز جدا جدا جدا ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Bad smell *by A***I on 4 April 2025* It's very good but have very bad and musty smell ### ⭐ Not the right material *by G***D on 25 August 2026* Not a paste or clay wax also didn’t like the scent of it ## Frequently Bought Together - Tigi Tigi Bed Head for Men Texture Molding Paste 2.93 Oz, 2.93 Oz - TIGI Bed Head for Men Matte Separation Workable Wax, 3 Ounce - TIGI Bed Head Manipulator Matte Hair Wax Paste with Strong Hold 2.01 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/263737235-tigi-mens-pure-texture-molding-paste-2-93oz](https://www.desertcart.com.cy/products/263737235-tigi-mens-pure-texture-molding-paste-2-93oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Cyprus* *Store origin: CY* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
