Work as expected. The way that the grey cap fits onto the filter allows some fine dust to enter the motor; the fit is not tight Black and Decker could refine this.

I bought my vacuum a year ago and use it daily to clean around the kitty litter box. So there is a lot of dust and grains. The original filter became too hard to clean and didn't seem to work anymore. These new filters are game changers. The suction on the vacuum has improved so much I can't even describe. Buying the filters saved me from buying a new vacuum. I only bought the replacement filters--I didn't buy the gray plastic pre-filter because it's easy to clean and fits right on the new replacements. I'd recommend these filters to everyone and I'll definitely be buying them again!

I used the one that is included about 3 times. the filter builts up and when you rewash, you can see the amount of goop and dirt. I wash with gentle liquid soap and air dry it. It says, good for 6 months. That all depends what kind of dirt you are picking up. I have pets so you can imagine. So I have 8 and I think, that is a good deal which should last a long time.

I have not had a chance to use the filters yet so I am unable to rate them fairly. However, for the difference in price from the brand name filters - - - - if they work well they'll be well worth the price.

Not sure why they want me to rate suction power given that these are just filters. They fit perfectly and are a really good price.
